We need a somewhere to stay on our way to Bratislava, and found this. We arrived late in the evening, but were served well by the friendly clerk. Rooms were good and bed was comfortable. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but not so bad. Breakfast was really good.

It is a nice mid range B&B - English visitors wouldn't call this a Hotel. Rooms comfortable but basic and dated. Staff very helpful and professional. Restaurant is very good. Breakfast is excellent. The entrance is confusing. You can park outside for half an hour to unload. Then you climb twenty steep steps. Then you find a tiny lift installed... More

We saw this lovely looking restaurant on our first wander through the Altstadt. It is on a terrace overlooking the Danube, and has pretty gardens around it. Today after a hot walk through the streets, we stopped here for a decadent ice cream. I recommend the walnut ice cream - but without cream unless you like it! Even the simple... More

Went there this morning together with my husband (not the first time for me there) for a ''nice'' breakfast and having to choose from whatever was leftover on the buffet..2 slices of salami each, 1 piece of bread, 2 cappuccino and 2 glasses of juice And having us paying at the end 30 euro!! This is disappointing!! I will never... More

The rooms are small and you have to walk through the restaurant to get to your room. The buffet breakfast is very good and is served in the restaurant. The meals in the restaurant are good but you can find better in the city.

Stayed here for just 2 nights, prior to boarding a river cruise. Nothing lavish about the hotel or rooms, but it was clean, right on the river, spacious, and the staff was very helpful with carrying bags up (we were on 6th floor, elevator only went to 5th), and spoke enough English to get everything taken care of without problem.... TripAdvisor led us to this hotel Could not be more central in this lovely pedestrian area of Passau. So near to all the lanes, alleys and sights. Our room overlooked the Danube, was quiet, spacious and immaculate You need to park a 5 minute walk away but can drop luggage off at the door The restaurant was excellent for dinner... More

we stayed at this hotel the night before boarding a Danube river cruise boat. The hotel is centrally located in Passau and within easy walking distance to the train station and all the old city. The hotel room was good but not luxurious - nice bathroom. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful [stored our bags for the day... More

We picked this hotel for its central location and especially for its advertised private parking (on reservation and for a fee). After a long journey it was disheartening to discover at check-in that the staff knew nothing about any private parking, never mind that we had reserved a space. My husband took a positive stance, given that we were parked... More
