From the amazing check it in experience to the size of the room and that we have a balcony the hotel five is amazing totally five stars. Beds were comfortable and we slept really well the shower is lovely and the toiletries a dream. We booked a bed and breakfast package and the breakfast was freshly cooked and the choice was brilliant. I really enjoyed the croissant Which was served warm with a selection of the jam chocolate and butter with it. We will definitely be returning
This little hotel has it all: stylish and modern rooms, all amenities, a great restaurant and friendly staff. On top this hotel is situated most conveniently in the middle of Nürnberg's city zone, with sightseeing attractions in short walking distance. It also seems to be famous for its breakfast. Little advise to the management: stock up your staff - one very busy and very tired waitress had to serve many guests. She handled it gracefully but as patrons we could clearly see that she was completely overworked.
We stayed here from 29.12.21 to 01.01.22. The hotel has a very youthful vibe with some thoughtful touches like fair priced minibar with free coffee, still and sparkling water bottles (refreshed daily); battery pack in the room (with mini usb charging cable), full set of nice smelling toiletries (except toothpaste and face wash); a full sized sofa with its own blanket that you can actually sleep on. We also liked the location of the hotel - right around the Hauptmarket and walking distance from Nurembergs main attractions. You could just hop over to multiple restaurants, bars and shops from the hotel. We availed of breakfast at the Five Diner which is connected to the hotel and whose staff man the reception. The breakfast is a la carte with a limited selection. The food is good but service can be a bit slow and sloppy (our orders were mixed up a couple of times). The room is fairly well sized and designed but the bed (smaller than queen) was a bit small. The bathroom’s shower cubicle is a bit small too. One area of improvement would be a dedicated staff on the reception for checking the hotel facilities and guest feedback - the lights on the first floor room corridor were not working for a couple of nights and it would be nice to pass on immediate feedback to someone at reception rather than ringing the bell and waiting for someone to come from the diner. Also, while our room was relatively insulated from the outside noise (except the church bells) - noise from the guests upstairs was disturbing. The walls between the rooms are a bit thin, I guess. Also, the Wi-Fi signal is really weak and slow in the room. Probably because it is the same open Wi-Fi as the diner. I think hotel guests should get a dedicated Wi-Fi. Overall a great stay though considering the price (100 euro per night)…
Well located in the old town, walking distance to all the attractions. Spacious room with comfortable bed, spotlessly clean. Speedy WiFi. Friendly staff. The only inconvenience was the car park, which is few hundred meters from the hotel, but still easy to unload if you are there by car.
Great hotel with super young, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Incredible breakfast, and very good vegetarian burgers. The only thing I would improve are the pillows: in my opinion not very comfortable. Nevertheless, thanks Hotel Five for the amazing stay.
I stayed there over the weekend. - well arranged and clean Sleeping- and Bathroom - tasty breakfast served by a nice crew - quick room service - short distances to almost every part of the inner city - I recommend a room in the 4th floor with a view to the large place in front of the hotel. Great view!
Small and intimate hotel located adjacent to the Hauptmarkt where the Christmas markets were. Only 16 rooms in this quaint hotel. The staff was full of personality and very accommodating. The included breakfast next door in the Five Diner was very good!
I was so surprised and VERY pleased with this hotel. I booked it because it was close to the market but ended up loving it. I see this place as a merge between a B&B and a boutique hotel. My room was massive -- and not just by European standards. As was the bathroom. I would stay with you for sure if I'm ever in Nuremberg again. I also LOVED the restaurant, Five Diner. Excellent service all around!
This charming hotel is very close to the Christmas market. It is extremely clean and well appointed. The room was quiet and the beds very comfortable. There really isn’t a hotel lobby, just a small reception desk where the world's most efficient (and friendly) hotel employee works. Thank you Eva for so easily handling the fact that I was two persons when I booked my reservation, but we were three when we showed up. The included breakfast was fantastic. In evening, the restaurant/bar is vibrant. I used the hotel parking which was reasonably priced at 12.50 Euro and only a block away. Loved this hotel.
Room clean, breakfast really good, central location. But the good manner guys, the good manner are so important. If I walk into the bar don’t tell me “where are you going!”, and if I ask “Can I seat there?” don’t just say “No!”. I could understand if you had a bad day but man... at breakfast time, really?? Anyway not everybody in the hotel is like that, my disappointment is referred specifically to the tall waitress with glasses.
