So many reasons to recommend Sorat Hotel Saxx. Location on the Hauptmarkt is fantastic with the best streets of the old town a short step away. Speediest check in and equally efficient check out by friendly English speaking staff. Good value buffet breakfast (12 Euro), the coffee - and views - were great. Plus complimentary coffee at reception all morning. Best of all, our room (502) - mightily impressed they noted our request for a view and what a view we had across the Hauptmarkt and Nurnberg from the 5th floor. Very comfy bed, effective a/c, everything well maintains. This hotel got our weekend in Nurnberg off to fantastic start. Thank you.

Everyone at this hotel was so patient with my terrible attempts at German! They were helpful, tho. The hotel was very clean and super quiet. The location is outstanding, right at the main market area, and they had stalls set up daily. The bar is small, but has whatever you’d need. The bed was very comfortable. The only irritation was you have to step inside to turn on the shower water, so you get blasted with cold or it’s too hot. Otherwise, really good price and great stay!

A wonderful hotel in what must be the best location in Nuremberg. Very clean, easily accessible, well outfitted and with staff that do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Everyone we met was great but Kathy on the front desk was particularly good. I cannot recommend this hotel too highly.

I had a delightful time at this hotel. The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room is a bit tight to maneuver due to the size of the full bed, but for a solo traveler it was not an issue. One thing I disliked was that the shower/tub does not really have a barrier, so you must be careful when you shower to not end up with water on the floor. I plan to stay here again on future visits.

My friend and I stayed here for the Christmas Markets and if they hadn't of been canceled, we would of had a perfect view of them from the hotel room. There always are taxis just outside which is great and there are many restaurants within walking distance. We were able to communicate in english and the hotel room was a good size as well.

I would never take the chance and book at a hotel that does not offer refunds, but that is exactly what this hotel is doing, refusing refunds. How long did they know the Christmas Market would not go forward? They let people book, and now are not offering a refund. If you are ever booking a hotel in Nuremberg I would chose another, more reputable that knows that while we live with Covid, sometime things are out of our contro.

I traveled with two elderly family members and this location was perfect. There were many things to do and see just steps away from the hotel. The service was pristine. Breakfast was great. Josey always made sure we were taken care of every morning. The front desk staff was very helpful upon checkin and checkout. If I’m ever back in Nuremberg, I will happily stay here again.

The hotel staff were wihout excepion friendly and helpful. The room was small and very clean. It was also really quiet. The breakfast was very good (no buffet because of Corona, but we got everything we wanted). I can thoroughly recommend this hotel - especially because of the location.

This was my first stay at the Sorat Hotel Saxx and it came through with everything. My only complaint is that the breakfast was not included, but in Nuremberg options abound! Location is drop dead! I had a superior room with a view of the main square over the Christmas market. My room had two nice windows overlooking the market, it was very large and comfortable. I experienced no problems with anything working in the room. It was very clean. The desk staff was helpful and answered questions I had regarding restaurants and sightseeing information. All in all, my stay was wonderful. I intend to keep them in mind in the future when traveling through Nuremberg.
