I can't say enough. I love hotels like this. Unique. Clean. Gréât staff. Very interesting. In the heart of this very nice city. The owner say snd had a glass if wine with me. The staff was welcoming. The rooms are all unique with a little story related to the culture of the city
Can’t say enough great things the hotel and especially the staff! Hotel is 2 minute walk from the main train station, perfect location just inside the old city, close to everything. There is a bar in the lobby (free glass of wine every night!). Rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable, with minibar. And then there is the staff - so helpful and fantastic, way above and beyond (I left my computer on the train coming into Nuremberg and they wrestled with Deutsche Bahn to get it back). While everyone at the hotel was so great, want to make a special shout-out to Ralf and especially Philip, who went way beyond the extra mile! I would never stay anywhere else in Nuremberg!!!
We were only able to spend one night here because they were booked full for the 2nd night be wanted to stay. All the employees that we interacted with were amazing. They helped find a really good restaurant the first night, they took care of us with a fantastic breakfast (included) and letting us come and go after checkout storing our luggage.
My husband and I were on our honeymoon (a tour of about 5 destinations in Germany) and we stayed at this hotel in Nuremberg. Right away the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was stunning - they even have little stories or myths for every room! We were offered an upgrade and took it gladly, happy to take advantage of the classy and spacious bathtub in the new room. The room itself was very comfortable with great views and had every amenity we needed (including AC since it got up to 32-33° C while we were there). The breakfast (included) was simple but delicious and the staff invited us to sample some of the wine they had available. It was a fabulous experience and made the whole leg of the trip 110% If/when I come back to Nuremberg, this is the first place I'd look to stay.…
My husband and I stayed here for two nights before boarding a river cruise on the Danube. What a lovely place - the rooms all have themes and "stories". We stayed on the 5th floor - our suite was beautiful with tons of character. The staff are spectacularly helpful - the entire place had so much personality. We appreciated especially the very hygenic and COVID-friendly presentation at breakfast - all the little portions on the buffet were served individually in glass containers with covers. We had friends who stayed around the corner at the large hotel across from the train station - we were so glad we stayed at a place with so much personality and personalised service. We highly recommend Drei Raben.
The hotel is located in the old center of the town, great for visiting. There is a space to unload your car in front of the hotel, and valet service if you prefer so. Reception is handled by a very efficient man, who will show you around but can also handle requests for a nice table etc. Rooms are all themed, and all around the place there are curiosities. We had one telling the tale of the well, a Nuremberger tale. Charming and fun. If you’re fed up of standard hotels, this is the place to be,
The Drei Raben is an amazing hotel based on location, service and amenities. The location is top notch, right at the start of Nuremberg’s main pedestrian street. The main station is 5 minutes walk and it’s 15 minutes to the castle. The staff are friendly, helpful and personable. The hotel is an attractive mix of old and new world. My room was nicely sized with great amenities. Solid value as well. Highly recommended.
This is a small hotel in a great location in the walled city of Nuremberg. Each of the rooms are decorated distinctly and a bit unusual but nice. Everything was very clean. At the time of our stay they offered free wine tastings one of our evenings there. The manager was a wealth of information about restaurants and things to do and see. There was a simple breakfast each morning that was more than adequate. The hotel met all our needs while exploring Nuremberg. (July, 2019)
Characterful hotel in the most positive sense. Great COVID precautions, for example even small portions of breakfast ingredients (sausage, cheese, fruit salad, cereals, vegetables, butter etc.) are prepared in small glasses with glas lids.
We spent a night on a family road trip through Germany. Great location, very friendly staff, felt like family, though still very professional. We had the "funnel" junior suite, which was spacious and very well-equipped. While we appreciate historic places, the risk with themed hotels is always that they have a bit of a Theme Park fell. At Drei Raben, they strike a perfect balance: each room has a story to tell, though it still feels authentic and not intrusive. Also, the staff is wonderful. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They took their time to give us great tips for a quick visit to Nuremberg's old town, and they managed to book a table in a lovely typical restaurant, which is not so easy due to Bavarian Corona restrictions. Worth every penny.
