Location was excellent. Close to the old town and about 15 minute walk from the central station, a few minutes from several subway stations, making it easy to get to the courthouse and the rally grounds. It was an old building, but I liked it and my room was comfortable. Lots of places to eat nearby. Breakfast was included and... More

Hi, We stayed for 2 nights there. It's very close to the main shopping streets in the inner city. The rooms are spacious (but as our friends told us not all of them- they had small ones) but old fashioned (not run-down). Bathroom is small and needs a renovation. Breakfast is good with a lots of different things to choose.... More

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, the first two were at the end of a heatwave which highlighted the need for aircon as I was on the top floor and the heat rose as I climbed the stairs. Reception was efficient, the rooms perfectly adequate, the restaurant was busy with locals which I think is a good sign... More

We arrived at 2pm after an 8 hour drive to be told our room wasn't ready.. not 'sorry, your room isn't ready', not 'here is a complimentary drink whilst you wait' just, you room isn't ready. We were then told we could leave our suitcases and were given a key; amazingly this was to our room which hadn't been cleaned... More

Stayed here for 1 night. It was very hot during our stay and the room was very hot. The room has a low slanded cieling that emits heat even during summer. NO WIFI, they said they are working on the problem and wifi is not available at rooms yet. I agree with the past reviews, hotel was very difficukt to... More

We stayed in room 416 which was interesting! This room is off by itself and we had to go through an iron gate and up a flight of stairs behind the gate to get to the room. The room was very clean, large and newly remodeled. There was actually a sitting area with a small sofa and tons of storage... More

Visited with my brother for business, and stayed for 4 nights. the pros: Great location in the heart of the old town, great sights within walking distance. "Old school" design and "feel", if you like that sort of thing (i do). Very polite and helpful reception desk guy (i forgot to ask his name). What seems to be a new... More

Tricky to get to with the roads works ongoing at the moment. On arrival I was invited to park my motorcycle in their secure car park. A very good start to the one night stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The room was clean, the restaurant produced some tasty food and an interesting German wine list.... More

This is the 8 or 10th time we are staying at Steichele Hotel when we exhibit at Powtech in Nuremberg. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city, close to the subway that goes direct to the exhibition. Still it is very quite. Even though it is located only one block from the main walking street... More

We have stayed here three times when coming to the Kristkindlmart. It has old world charm, very good restaurant and cozy weinstube. It is well located just half block from the pedestrian zone in Nurnberg--very easy to walk all around the old city. Personally I think it is 5-star for charm, friendliness and helpful staff; but with weak or no... More

“Only some rooms can pick up the free WIFI ... televisions, but if you are looking for english language television --- CNN is the option!!! Only option!!! If you arrive in Nuremburg via train, hope on the underground and get off at the underground 4 minutes walk from the hotel. Do NOT get a taxi ... not worth it! The elevator/lift is very quirky ... so is the hotel - but definitely the only place we would stay during a visit to Nuremburg. Great location, great value!”
