Hhm, do you smell it? The Lorenz Forest makes the air here so beautifully clear. From all three floors of the Seminaris Hotel Nurnberg you have a great view of nature. And on the training ground of the 1. FC Nurnberg – if you need sporting motivation, you can certainly be inspired. But we also understand it if you prefer to stay in one of our 152 rooms and just enjoy the soft bed with its fragrant pillows. We also like to sit in the greenery and enjoy the time at the restaurant am Wasserschloss and the Lounge with access to the terrace. We know what you like and bring it to your table: Whether you prefer a classic Viennese veal schnitzel or a bowl with homemade falafel - you'll love our modern, fresh cuisine. A Benedictine beer and you feel comfortable, right? To break new ground in your business, you sometimes need unexpected impulses. We give them to you. With a selection of 18 meeting rooms including a Convention Center and conference partners. And best of all: a network of inspiring trainers, keynote speakers and moderators. On top the matching materials. A fresh spirit feels at home in a powerful body. Our fitness studio offers you everything you need for your workout on the go. Come in and get the power you need! The Lorenz Forest covers 15,000 hectares: and the Seminaris Hotel Nurnberg is very close to this green lung of the region. It is only a few metres from here to the Max-Morlock-Stadion. The airport is just ten kilometres away from the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre and the NCC East just 3.5 km. You are looking for a hotel in the city with a connection to nature: here you will find exactly that!

Detailed Reviews
The Hotel was clean, and the staff seem to care, but management show they are greedy. The room has a weird cane chair which seems to take a lot of space, and is not much use, but that's a decoration issue. Other clients seemed to agree. I thought the breakfast was good, and sufficient, coffee machine worked well. This seems like a good hotel, but their greed gets in the way. Air conditioning did not function, windows don't open properly, and discussion with other clients seemed to be a common issue. Room key needed to be reset on a daily basis. Fresh towels needed to be requested on a daily basis. They have no kettle, no fridge, no toiletries. Purchase of a miniature bottle of lemonade, (smallest bottle I've ever seen) will cost you Euro 3.50 and no prices are marked, so you've opened it before realizing. Just get a vending machine, with proper sized drinks, then customers know how much. The bar has high prices too, but there is a pizza shop and several other places which charge half of what they do.

OK, we were there for one night last year and actually had good memories of the hotel.
This time I have to say, the room was OK, the shower still had a bathtub, but the breakfast was not OK at all. There are now bakers everywhere who bake on Sundays, so why are there only soggy rolls that are just dried out?
The next thing was the Bircher muesli, the yoghurt must have been bad... so the breakfast has a lot of room for improvement.
Reminds me of a certain hotel that you definitely don't go to anymore. It's a shame really

It is a nice hotel near the training fields of FC Nürnberg. You see the trainers and players walking around.
The welcome at the hotel was very friendly. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we had a view of the training fields.
The city center is easily accessible by public transport.
There is also a cozy hotel bar, where there is a wide choice of drinks.

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total!
When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in.
Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised.
When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper.
I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to
The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.

Comfortable and convenient for a stay in Nürnberg w/o the fuss of being directly in the city center.
While the outside isn’t much to look at, we very much enjoyed our room and our stay. Our room was an L-shaped “suite” on an inside corner. All room fixtures were comfortable and the bedding was pleasant. The room was quiet. Since this was a winter time stay, we were quite comfortable; but I’m not sure if I’d feel the same when it’s warm out since there isn’t any A/C (which, of course, is typical in Germany and Europe).
The daily breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. There were cold cuts and cheese; a variety of breads; cereals and yogurt; vegan options; and a hot selection of Weißwurst, Nürnberger Wurst, bacon, baked beans, hard cooked eggs, and scrambled eggs. Since the breakfast was included in our rate, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The service staff was quick and friendly.
Parking is free and directly in front of the building. I’d say that parking is plentiful, with the caveat that the lot is shared with a swimming club, a ticket office for FC Nürnberg, and training facilities for the FC. We didn’t have a problem, but I could see there being issues at times. Not sure about the local bus service, but there is a bus stop almost directly in front of the hotel.
I found the location to be convenient to everything we wanted. There are plenty of local restaurants and shopping opportunities; the Altstadt is only 15-20mins by car; the FC 1 stadium is only a couple of minutes by car; the Franken Center shopping center is about 10mins away.

This hotel is going down fur sure. Two stars only. Their price is OK, buit the lack of a decent chair, no office space, no toiletries and so on is inexcusable.
On top off that the kitchen did not operate so only barfood available any high prices.
Sleep quality was good.

Large, majestic but dated hotel. We were here for the siegershow, I have to say I was disappointed. Let's start with the carpet in the breakfast room, full of dust. Rich but very very limited buffet for vegans (fruit and almond milk). Carpet everywhere, little attention to detail. Nice rooms but also the bedside rugs (very unhygienic), without a mini bar in the room, the bathtub stopper that didn't close.
The furniture is beautiful, but for the same price you can find much more

Firstly very sweet lady at reception- no complaints there BUT we were here about 5-6 years ago and the quality has fallen unfortunately. Rooms clean - restaurant was shut. We chose this place as there was good food last time. No food.
Walked to a Thai/Chinese/Indian place that was basically weird.
We tried the fitness room. Ok but not fully functional.
Breakfast every kind of sausage. Not great.

We stayed overnight as part of a European driving trip. The room was very comfortable with a modern urban feel. Very clean and freshly decorated. The hotel was very well prepared for COVID and has a proficient operating system in place, most impressed! Nice restaurant with a good menu selection and an excellent breakfast buffet too.

Very modern and pleasant hotel. Spacious bedroom, well appointed and nice bathroom. Reception staff very pleasant and polite. Great buffet breakfast with good choice of food. Large free car park. Situated a little bit out of town, and car is required to visit the city.

As with most European hotels, Max occupancy for normal rooms was 3 people. We had booked a family room that was a large space with room for two roll away bed brought in. I don't remember cost for buffet, but there was a children's menu in the bar in the evening.
No there is no Executive Lounge
Are there dedicated bike paths near the hotel, are there paved bike paths in the forest.
Many thanks
Not able to give an accurate tip because I reached the hotel by car. In addition it is a little far from city center to reach it by bike. The hotel is a good price for value!
If your a Hilton Honors member no. Not sure if it's every level of Hilton Honors though, I am at the Gold level and the Wi-Fi and the breakfast buffet were free.
Dear Laurie W,
thank you for your question. We do have free wifi access, but only in the lobby area and lounge bar. The wifi in the rooms would be to pay.
We are looking forward to welcome you,
kind regards,
