Excellent hotel, greatly located just next to Nuremberg Main Station. The station is city center, making this hotel perfectly located! Modern, calm, close to public transportation and walking distance to major attractions. The team is very attentive, professional, efficient and well trained. Room size acceptable for hotel category. The hotel is very clean, both the public areas and the room. Bathroom modern and well equipped. I will definitely stay there again next time in the area. Definitely with my recommendations 10/10
Very dedicated and engaged team 1. At the check-in I received a list of tourist high-lights reflecting my short leisure time. 2. While there was an internal communication error the staff was eager to solve the problem even after midnight immediately (and succeeded) 3. Additional needed things were delivered to the room within minutes.
A very good location literally next to old town and railway station. Close to railways but the noise is not annoying. Rooms are cosy and well equipped. The stay was pleasant and the service was nice and efficient.
My trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 (trade show was cancelled) and this hotel is refusing to refund the money! They told me they can only re-book me for another date in 2020, which they know is totally useless because so far Germany doesn't even accept travelers from USA and even if they will at some point this year the purpose of my trip was to attend a trade fair, which would only happen in 2021. The management of this hotel only worries about their profit and not about customers. They basically took my money and keep hiding behind their "policies". It's very typical for German "hospitality" industry - they feel that as long as their policy is followed the customer can go pound sand. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel and will actively discourage anyone I know who travel to the trade fair to avoid this hotel at all cost. This hotel jacks up prices for very mediocre accommodations during the fair (I paid close to $300/night for room that typically costs $125 on a non-fair day) and refuse to help customer in any situation. All I wanted was to re-book my room for 2021 in order to attend the trade fair next year and I was brushed off like dust when I tried to communicate with the hotel. They had the nerve to ask for my compassion(!!!) after taking my money...LOL If you must stay at this hotel, always buy some sort of insurance, otherwise you're on your own if you need help. I'm sure they think they're completely right, because they followed their policies, but this customer will never forget.…
Great location near railway station. I have to say there is no problem with noise of trains because of great isolation windows. Just few hundred meters from old city walls. Good breakfast and the most important, great coffe for breakfast. Clean and functional rooms, lcd TV, small but clean and functional bathroom. Like it. There was mineral water on mini bar, no cost. Mini bar is empty but you can put there something in frige. I like that.
Hotel with very good location (close to the central station and old town). Helpfull staff. Varied, delicious breakfast. Option of early check-in. Included tickets for public transport. I can recommend IntercityHotel Nurnberg as a starting point for visiting interesting/important places in Nurnberg.
it is not easy to rate this hotel as it has its pros and cons. we were moved there by the Maritim hotel which got overbooked. The purpose of a hotel is to provide a good nights sleep and a good breakfast. While the breakfast was unexpectedly amazing for a place like this, the rooms were really basic and the beds were hard which didn’t make for a good rest. Would I come back? For the breakfast definitely yes, for the comfort unfortunately not.
The liquid hand soap is very hard to squeeze and get from bottle and difficult to wash off(need more water to wash clean). Need hotel provide a small soap to guest wash hand easily. I found the quilt cover is used before. Need to change quilt cover for every new guest (not bed sheet)
Stayed for one night on a railway tour so very handy for the railway station a few yards away.Small standard room overlooking the railway tracks but not too noisy. Arrived late so nowhere to go for a drink but no bar in the hotel-being refurbished. On a tour so no choice for our meal and had a load of sausages ,cold potatoes and a veg for our mains-which a lot of people left. Not much choice at breakfast and help yourself area was small and crowded.
This is an older but clean hotel close to the main train station. We had rooms overlooking the tracks but it was quiet. Beds were fine, air conditioning was cool, and breakfast was good. A short walk puts you inside the walls of the city. Our room fee also included local transportation which we took advantage of. There is an Italian restaurant a few doors down. I think I would have preferred to be at a hotel inside the city walls, but that is no fault of this hotel.
