In house opool and fitness a benefit - which on this visit I did not use but again do help to justify the price point.
First problem we had was that the room was was not cleaned. The kitchen area had food rememants on the stove and inside the oven. The glassware had been halfway cleaned and put away, you could see the lip marks on the glasses. Yuck. The bathroom had dust and dirt all over it. There was also a large yellow stain next to the bed, it looked like piss. The table by the couch also had some kind of gunk smeared on it.
Second the room was extremely warm... we only book hotels that advertise air conditioning ... as it's very uncomfortable to sleep in a room that feels like a sauna and that was what we we're experiencing at this hotel. We asked the reception why the air conditioning was not working in our room and they said they would come up and check on it. It wasn't until one of the staff came into our room did they tell us that they don't offer air conditioning in the winter because "Germans don't like it" and then laughed when we asked why their listings and website say that they have air conditioning. He was very condescending with his tone and his solution was for us to open our window and under normal circumstances this would be fine, but the location of this hotel and our room backed up to an alleyway which both had a lot of traffic, a loud bar crowd and trash bins located on it, which meant we had to deal with the trash truck waking us up every morning at 4am and the crowds at the bar kept us up late. This made our time in Nuremberg so exhausting that we could hardly enjoy our trip.
The hotel did nothing the provide any solution to the comfort, cleanliness or noise level during our stay. We will not stay at Adina properties anymore.
The room was fantastic - spacious and comfortable with everything needed when travelling far from home- washer/dryer, kettle, stove, oven, well laid out and equipped bathroom.
The location was also excellent. Shops/supermarket close, U1 line 2 minutes walk away with escalators, one U1 stop away from the old city.
It’s in a great location with all of the local downtown sites in Nuremberg within easy walking distance.
The only negatives about our stay were the climate control on the rooms (it was difficult to get our room to a comfortable temperature in the hot summer) and what I would call a substandard breakfast bar.
We are vegetarian/vegan and there were very few options for us. Also, the staff did not seem to keep the dining room clean and keep the breakfast bar stocked.
We would stay here again because of the comfortable rooms, great price, and location, though.

A number of positives though - as mentioned previously, well located, within an easy walk of the main shopping streets and Nuremberg Castle. Generally friendly and efficient reception staff. Useful room amenities. Wish we’d bought our swim wear as the basement pool was larger and nicer than we’d expected. Also has a sauna alongside the pool. Useful basement parking.
The only disappointment was the hotel bar which was overpriced for very average drinks. We did not have the breakfast there at €25 but instead went to local cafés nearby.
