Very central to the station and tram stops. Very clean rooms, great shower in the bathroom. We booked a twin room with ensuite. Our room was on the main street and it was hot and had the windows open as it was summer. I had...More
Nice rooms but too warm, and you cannot opet the windows. Didn't like location, far from center but relatively close to bus station. Only good thing is common areas and kind staff. While we were there, something outside smelled awufully and made us sick, and...More
The hotel is closed to the Häckerbrücke station (5min), so it was easy to move around. From there, you can reach the city center in 5/10 minutes.
The staff was kind and welcoming. We booked 2 triple rooms, but they both were quite small: two...More
- The rooms are noisy and extremely warm. You cannot open the windows because of the noise outside, and with closed windows it is difficult to sleep once it is too warm.

Hi there - access is easy into Marienplatz vis S Bahn and you can get cheap tickets in the Hotel( thereafter on foot to Hofbrauhaus ) but would also agree with Beatriz's comment here that the Augustiner Brauhaus is directly across the road rom the Meininger and is the last fully German owned brewery in the area - it goes on all night long and is well worth the visit. The beer is also on sale in the hotel amd the Steins are cheaper to buy in the hotel than elsewhere! Enjoy 🍻
