Facilities are good and clean, staff were helpful and informative but waiting times could be long. Breakfast is quite expensive but gluten free is available. Environment is generally nice and accomodation prices are good. Location is good.

I stayed here for Fruhlingsfest and for that it is an ideal location, just around the corver from the festival. It is a bit futher to town but its's not too far, about a 20 min walk to Marienplatz. It is a shame the Munich U-Bahn dosen't go that way or this hotel would be even more attractive. There was...

We came here as a family stopping off on the way to Italy and enjoyed our stay here . Firstly, there is a hotel car park for 10 euros a night, which is very practical. We could just walk out of the door and in 10 minutes were on the Theresienwiese or at the station. Secondly, the rooms were clean,...

I've stayed in a number of hostels/budget hotels and Meininger mostly lived up to the rest of them. Pros: Good bar area with decent priced drinks, close to training and tram, across the road from one of the beer halls, bathrooms in the private rooms. Wifi was good quality. Cons: the shower was just a jet of water, the bed...

The location is within walking distance of Marienplatz and therefore great for those on a budget. The hotel sits in a quiet area on the edge of town and has an underground car park at extra cost. The check in assistant advised that we could keep the car on the side street for free until 9am the next morning as...

As a hostel this is one of the better ones I have stayed in. We stayed here with a group of 12 guys for a birthday weekend. The hostel is relatively clean and tidy and has much of what you need. Breakfast food is horrendous but rooms are quite spacious and hostel was quite quiet with families and large groups...

Its very big, serves both as a hostel and hotel. During our stay many school groups filted through filling up common areas being very noisy. location is ok as there is a pub across the road and a tram line out front, however is a good 10-15 min walk to the train station and further into the centre of munich....

Faces one of the many beer halls, so easy to just run out and grab a beer and food, with good atmosphere. Also an easy walk into munich centre, or grab a tram from directly outside, or short walk to hackerbrucke train station for bigger journeys.Just ideal really.

I recently stayed here with a group of teenagers on a youth trip. The staff were very accommodating in ensuring all teens were in nearby dorms to help with bight supervision. Staff were also very helpful in giving advice on places of interest and activity centres to suit the age category of our group. The accommodation itself was very clean,...

Firstly, the staff at this "hotel" were friendly and helpful. Cant fault them at all. However, the hotel is not a hotel, it's a hostel. And the pictures are a little misleading. You get what you pay for, and I can't knock its value. But there needs too be clarification. The room was clean. However, the single beds are so...
