The hotel was well appointed and clean. The only problem for us was it was a bit out , 13 stops on the subway from central, which we travelled each day. There was basicly nothing for the tourist at West Messe. The internet in the rooms was expensive, but they did provide a free computor down in the lobby.

Great hotel, can't think of anything negative about it. Its not in city centre but easy enough to get to via subway which was easy to navigate. Subway directly outside hotel. Hotel bar prices reasonable. Shopping centre directly across from hotel with supermarket. Loved the italian restaurant directly across from hotel which was very reasonably priced as well. Would have...

This was my second stay at a Novotel during my families trip in Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany. Although I had likes the Novotel in Brugge, BE, I had not planned on staying at one in Munich. I have a fairly specific need in a hotel that will not fit everyone else's. I am traveling with my wife and 2...

I would highly recommend this hotel but only if you can get a substantially reduced rate. It's at Munich's exhibition centre so if there are no large events taking place, you can get a good deal. I booked through the hotel's own website and stayed 6 nights for an average price of €64 a night. Hotels in Munich tend to...

Not much to say for once, a good Novotel, nice design (and tons of pictures from the old airport era). The rooms are nice, the bathroom a bit small and not too well organized (you've to close the toilets to push the flush). Internet is overly expensive, it seems this is quite common in the Dorint hotels lately (see my...

Firstly, this hotel is located west of Munich in an area called Messestadt West (meaning Fair City West). The hotel is surrounded by an exhibition centre (ICM) and is located on what used to be Munich's old airport. The hotel displays photo's of the airport as it was back in its heyday all over the place. The U-Bahn and a...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in Feb 2007 for 3 nights. It is a very modern and comfortable hotel with good amenities and is close to a shopping mall. The tube station is just outside which makes this a good base for exploring Munich (and makes it cheaper than the inner city hotels). We did not eat...

This hotel was near-new and as such in brilliant condition. It is about 20 mins out of Munich centre but easy to connect to as it sits practically on top of the metro station. There is a decent sized shopping centre in the same location so you can easily get meals etc without going back into Munich. The rooms were...

Great hotel to stay when visiting Munich. It's a bit far from the center, but you have a U-Banh line right at the door of the hotel (10 meters !!!!). It travels every 5 minutes, so dont be afraid, it only takes 15 minutes to Munchen Center. Great modern ambiance, at the new Munchen Fair Grounds. It has a large...

Stayed in the hotel for Systems 06 and it was perfect – you cross the street and you are immediately on the fair premises. Hotel itself is very modern and clean, though I had problems with my optical mouse on the glass table and I could not find anything to use as a mouse pad. It is part of bigger...

HI there: Hope this message find you well. I appreciated with your help on my following questions. Based on the information that I got from the MVV website, the route from the airport to the Novotel Muenchen Messe hotel is to take the S8 train from the airport, change to the U5 at Ostbahnhof Station, and then connect later with the U2 line to Messestadt West.

(1). As I will have some luggage to carry along with my family members and when I get off from the S8 train to U5 Ostbahnhof Station, based on the MVV website, it shows I will have to walk down the stairway and also escalator as well. Please advise if this is correct and based on the MVV website, it shows that it may take as much as 5 minutes for the walking and there will be around 7-10 minutes for me to transfer from the S8 to U5. Do you think my family and I will have enough time or we may miss the U5 if we get lost on our way. Is that easy to find?

(2). Also, when transferring from U5 to U2 at the Innsbrucker Ring station, based on the MVV website, there are conflict information as it shows there may require some walking, but it doesn't show any time estimation based on the walking paths. Is that because it is a very short walking distance across the opposite side of the platform in the same level? As it shows the arrival time of U5 to the Innsbrucker Ring station is the exact the same time as the departure time of U2, it is a bit of confusing. Please advise.

(3). My family and I are planning to stay for 3 days in Munich and it is going to be our first visit, do you recommend if I should get the "3-day Partner Day Pass" or "3-day Partner CityTourCard"? If we are planning to visit some of the major attractions in Munich, do we simply need to get the "inner District Day Pass" or "entire network Day Pass"? I tried to look up the fares about the Day Pass from the MVV website, but for some reason, it doens't show the fare of the "3-day Partner Day Pass for the entire network". Please let me know the correct fares or any hyperlink is appreciated.

Thank you so much for your help and your kind attention. Any suggestion or recommendation is welcome. We appreciated.
