We stayed for three nights in an apartment in this hotel (myself, husband and one year old). The hotel was clean and atmospheric with lots of charm. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, minutes from Marienplatz with gorgeous beer halls/ wine bars and restaurants close by. Italian restaurant next door serves great food and also has...

The location of this hotel is superb, just few steps away from Maximilian street and Marienplatz. Rooms are very small but warm and cozy, all hotels amenities are available, check in and out staff were friendly. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and bars, located in old town. I highly recommend the hotel if you are a single business...

The hotel is very well located. No room service available. Elevator is very small as building in old. Parking is not very convenient as you would expect from an old hotel down town. I would stay in it again but not great for family.

I spent one night at Hotel an der Oper because I was going to... the Opera House, which is really close by. I liked the hotel a lot. First: I arrived two hours before check in time and was told ‘no problem’. Check in was very fast and efficient, all I had to do was sign. I was handed the...

Stayed at the Hotel an der Oper in the "Suite" for 4 nights in early October for Euro 1640 (inclusive of VAT). I try to make my reviews fact based for travelers trying to make a decision, so here they are: Location: Excellent. Off a quiet street but practically next to the Hofbrauhaus and 5 minute walk to the Marienplatz...

This hotel is well situated not far from the pedestrian area so close to the Rathaus with its famous clock and the Hof Brauhaus. Well placed for visits to the Christmas Market which was the purpose of our trip. There is no restaurant as such although it is next door to an Italian Restaurant which was excellent and where breakfast...

Hotel An Der Oper is perfect for business. I stayed recently while on a trip and it is in the centre close to Maximillian Strasse. The hotel is small but has excellent service, good Wifi, clean rooms and bathrooms. Minibar is also there and very sound proof. The Reception Staff are very friendly and speak English although you try to...

This is a medium-sized, family-run hotel that occupies two buildings across from each other on the same street. Rooms are on the small side and in the older building, furnishings are an odd mixture of pieces reminiscent of the 1960ies. Wifi is reasonably fast, with occasional disruptions. Service in general is mostly friendly but sometimes arrogant and unhelpful. An acceptable,...

Only stayed 1 night only. Lift can only accommodate 2 people or 1 with luggage. Room clean but small. Well located. WiFi was included but erratic until I asked reception to sort out. Sound proofing poor. Won't be back.

This is a very efficient, comfortable hotel in a great location for whomever comes to Munich. We were here for Octoberfest,, but the hotel is less than a minutes walk from the Hofbrau Haus.
