I travelled in business and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel, it's situated on a quiet street while still only being a stones through from the centre of Munich. First impressions upon entering were how classic and beautiful the hotel were, the staff on reception were extremely friendly and helpful (and even offered to help me practice my German!)...

Stayed on an overnight visit to Munich, and found the hotel to be as impressive as it appears on the website. Particular attention and credit to the staff, in particular, Michael at reception: welcoming; knowledgable and massively helpful, above and beyond the regular efforts!

One of the most elegant, chic hotels I've visited in Europe. Centrally located in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood, just a quick 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town. Upon arrival, the reception team was fantastic - extremely friendly, knowledgeable and graciously answered our questions as first-timers to the city. The rooms are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and...

Hotel Opera is a classic, quiet, clean and beautifully appointed hotel just outside the 'pedestrian area' of Munich. A wonderful location in a charming neighborhood of small restaurants and shops, yet 10 minutes walk to Marienplatz. Helpful staff, infinitely polite and fluent in English and other languages. We highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel must be highly recommended. Full of charm and character. Perfectly cleaned and helpful staff. A court with an almost Italian feeling where you can have breakfast, weather permitting. Hotel situated in a quiet area, but close to Maximilliam Strasse.

Lovely place with a great staff. Our room was quirky: a very small room with beautiful paneling and a chandelier, with lots of cabinets for storing stuff. And then a roomy solarium to one side, quite comfortable. So it ended up being quite pleasant, if odd. The location is good but not great; it's a 10-minute walk into the old...

I stayed for a weekend during the last weekend of Oktoberfest. Very central yet in a very quiet and charming backyard district of the chic and fashionable Maximilian Strasse, 15 min walk to Marienplatz. Beautiful building extremely well renovated keeping the German romantic style, since it is decorated with antiques however with a very light and elegant approach. Beautiful Italian...

This little hotel is a great find; a few steps from Maximilianstrasse and yet very quiet and private. A very pretty facade, marble lobby and a charming courtyard for breakfast or a quiet drink. As we pulled up in our taxi the exterior was hugely impressive and we were warmly welcomed by the young receptionist.
