I would compare this to an American Hampton Inn. Rooms are pretty small. The beds are comfortable. Lighting in the rooms seems a bit dark but that is par for the course in Germany. Germans also seem to like VERY warm rooms. We were there in December and it was about 40°F (5°C) and could not get the room down...

Room was small and pull out bed was uncomfortable, you can feel the springs in the thin mattress. Air/heat was hard to figure out how to control, seems like you couldnt warm the room up. Very small bathroom with small shower, no counter space. Small fridge in room. Walking distance to train and Christmas market. Walking distance to Aldi. Nothing...

The room was clean, even a bit old and not very updated: moquette on the ground (not so clean) and old-style furniture. In complex a good price for a honest stay. Avoid the expensive breakfast, much better to have it in the city center. Perfect location to visit the town: very close to all the main attractions.

Booked two night stay primarily to visit the Xmas market(s) but also absorb the history of Munich from 16th Century to present time from a basic historical interest rather than academic approach. Not disappointed, the atmospheric markets, the architecture, the people, the dark aspects but also the regenerative history set against the festival of Christmas was a great and memorable...

We stayed two nights here to visit the Christmas markets. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was clean and reasonably spacious with a four poster bed (well a two poster bed) and comfortable pillows. Easy five minute walk to the markets on Marienplatz and a ten minute walk to the unusual markets at Theresienwiese. We also took a...

After a 26 hr travel day from hell arriving here was glorious. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful. Beds very comfortable and a charming very clean room. But where this hotel really shines is it's breakfast buffet. Large and delish quality food.

Excellent location--minutes walk to the major train station, bus terminal and the main square (Marienplatz) for good shopping. This is a small, "cozy" welcoming hotel. The reception staff are terrific, always available for questions and giving advice on local sites and how to get there. Coming during a very cold time of year, I appreciate the fact that the hotel...

This is our second stay at this hotel and my go-to for Munich. Its location so close to the bahnhof is do convenient, and the rooms are clean, quiet and quite comfortable. The beds are special, and for the price you can't do better in Munich.

This hotel was exactly what we wanted it to be - decent quality, friendly staff, convenient location, good amenities. Some nice touches - poster beds in every room, and period paintings in the rooms too. All in all a good venue.

I only had a short visit to Munich and I booked the hotel to be able to explore some of the old town and art museum district ( Pinakotheken). It is not really central location but one can still walk there. I enjoyed cleaniness and delicious breakfast buffet ranging from excellent scrambled eggs, to cold cuts, pastry and large selection...
