I mistakenly booked this hotel and not the one closer to the Rathaus and Marienplatz but saved money in doing so. This Mercure has a nicer dining room and bar area and the room was clean and large by German standards.

I have stayed at this hotel maybe 7 or 8 times. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The reception and bar staff are very pleasant. It is in a great central location 200 metres from Munich min station. For these reasons I have kept coming back......despite the most irritatingly invasive housekeeping department I have ever experienced. The...

The front desk seemed a bit distracted at times, but were helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated but the paint on the walls is scaling off on some places. Bathroom was nice but the toilet had some damage. Sleep quality was ok, but it could have been better isolated between the floors. Saturday night a group of jazz artist performed...

Dear Sir or Madame, thank you for taking the time to evaluating your stay in our hotel. Unfortunately we had to note, that not all of your comments are positive. Unfortunately we have no possibility to see in which room were in, that we can dierctly react. All of our rooms have been newly repapered end of last year. With...

We first booked into this hotel because of its proximity to the central train station combined with attractive room rates. We then discovered that behind a rather bland exterior there is an extremely well run hotel with helpful, efficient and friendly staff combined with large comfortable rooms and one of the best breakfast spreads in Munich. Aesthetically the hotel definitely...

The Mercure Munich City Center is an excellent business hotel near the central train station (Hauptbanhoft) in Munich. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk south of the station on a block filled with other hostels and hotels. I stayed on the third floor in a room facing the interior courtyard. The room was quite large by European standards. The...

We've used this hotel twice and will be happy to come back. Nice, big rooms, great service and a free wifi that works well. Only drawback is that the video on demand service (that we used last year) was gone this year ...

Just arrived back from a great stay at this hotel. Was a 5 min walk from the main station and easy stroll in to the city centre. Service was excellent, free mini bar and free welcome drink. The breakfast included in the price was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs mmm!! Worth...

Stayed at the hotel on July 2007 (yeah, that long ago...) and I can only praise it. It is centrally located, within a very short walking distance of the old city. Our room was very nicely decorated and felt much nicer than a "regular" Mercure room. The bathroom amenities were awesome and included a body lotion made of pure almonds,...
