Originally conceived by King Ludwig I, the Bayerischer Hof is one of Munich's most legendary hotels. History and contemporary flair mingle with easy elegance. Its iconic Blue Spa, offering barbecues in summer and an unique ice bar in winter with views of Munich, was created by Andrée Putman. The latest restaurants, Atelier and Garden, are by interior designer Axel Vervoordt, who also devised the Cinema Lounge; complete with its own Night Club with live Jazz, five restaurants, six bars and the theatre, it is a self-contained haven that draws celebrities and heads-of-state. Guest rooms are in a variety of styles, designed by famous architects. Top-floor suites have breathtaking views, private spa access, terraces or open fireplaces.

Pretty painful experience: 1. The check-in involves three visits to the front desk to finally get requested room with a large bed (and not to single beds apart from each other). Apparently the front desk staff have no clue what the rooms look like! 2. Unattentive service in the

This hotel is the best hotel we have been to, and we travel a lot to 5 star hotels. First I visited with my 89 year old mother in a wheelchair. The hotel upgraded us to a lovely junior suite because I had not booked the right kind of room for a wheelchair. The receptionist was

This was the treat at the end of our 3 week vacation -- a first-class (in every way) hotel with beyond-first-class service. Cornelius at check-in treated us like royalty while Laurin at check-out made us want to miss our flight home. There are hotels that are big and impersonal.

I went to Bayerischer Hof's Festival Hall (Festsaal) on March 3 with friends for the Fiesta Latina concert. The concert was great, but there's something very odd and disrespectful when we ordered drinks: We had seats at Table 108, so there were waitstaff ordering for us. But the

Dear Haiyin T, First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to inform us about your recent experiences at our property, which you kindly call as „one of the best hotels“ in town. It is good to know, that you and your friends enjoyed the Fiesta Latina Event and obviously had an amazing time. However, we regret that you had reasons to complain regarding the payment options and we beg your pardon for any inconveniences you might have had. Further, we feel very sorry that we were not able to convince you with our performance and profession. Please be assured that we pay great attention to offering the most courteous and professional service to our guests and we deeply regret that you had a different impression. That is why we have forwarded your comments to the responsible teamleaders to investigate your descriptions. If you do not mind, we would be very grateful if you could name us some more information regarding the disappointing service, so that we can research accordingly and take appropriate measures. Dear Haiyin T, we hope that the positive memories do still prevail and would be happy to welcome you back soon. In the meantime we remain, with kindest regards, Karolin Lachner Guest Relation

What to say? To me this is the perfect hotel. Is it beautiful? No. Is it hip? No. It is the perfect old fashioned hotel. The service is first rate, friendly without being deferential. The confort is first rate, the location can’t be better, the rooms are in a perfect ‘shape’

Does this hotel offer parking?
Hi I came thru Munich by bus .... but did look the website for BAYERISCHER HOF HOTEL and it showed Parking -Valet. Guess that means yes to your question but be aware that Valet should mean there is a daily fee charged to your bill. Enjoy your stay.
