Beautiful hotel run by a great couple. Walkable to metro( little long) yet in residential neighborhood . Quiet, very comfortable and extremely clean. When we wanted to go to the metro in the AM they drove us. Breakfast included and was terrific. I would stay again.
We spent one night here in a large family room. CHeck in&out quick and easy, apartmant cosy and comfy. Only downside is the site of the breakfast room, which is rellay small comparing to the number of rooms and guests.
Hotel has very high scores on tripadvisor and belive me the scores are not showing how good service and kindness of the hotel team is. I saw 9.3 and I disagree - should be 10 out of 10! Just after making reservation hotel team called...More
Ok, it's not downtown Munich, but the Residenz is located in a nice and safe residential area, served with underground stations nearby (one within walking distance, the other you take a bus to and fro, but it's easy and fast). The building is new, I...More

Yes, the facility is very family friendly. We did not use a cot as our kids are a bit older. I am quite certain if you contact the hotel, they can answer that question for you very easily. I exchanged several email messages about our late arrival and they were very prompt. I do remember a family with small children being there and the staff were helping the mom warm up a bottle. There is an elevator available and there was no noise whatsoever. We had a 10-minute walk to the trains, which we enjoyed. We haven't explored the taxi or bus, but I'm sure those are also good options. Best wishes on your trip. We had a fabulous time in Munich. Anna
