We stayed at Pension Mirabell twice, two summers in a row. It is a beautiful classic Bavarian pension, as charming as one could imagine. We were blown away by the kindness and hospitality of our hosts. Very family friendly; we had kids in our group both times, and the hosts always had special treats for them. Wonderful breakfast every morning.... More

We stayed for two nights in Pension Mirabell with our family. When arriving we had a misunderstanding about the extra beds, but it was solved out fast and we got beds also for kids. Our room was in the top floor and it was clean and all in all ok. Beds were ok, even the extra ones. Rooms were old... More

As I write this we are still in Germany at a different hotel, 30 minutes outside of Garmisch. There was no balcony (as advertised, in our room located in the basement. We notice a weird smell like some type of spray had been used. I asked for a different room only to be hugged by Theresa who kept talking in... More

While in Bavaria we decided to head to Garmisch for some skiing. The rooms here are spacious, with great little private balconies. WiFi, complimentary great breakfast, and good location. The hosts do not speak a lot of English but were so sweet and friendly it didn't matter.

I'd like to give a better review but I find smoking difficult to be around. Innkeepers smoke and the smell permeates the spaces. It is quite old and if you have a rambunctious family above you, the peace will be disturbed. Floors creek and are thin. Good: the innkeepers are very kind and well meaning. Breakfast is fine, the usual... More

The innkeeper Teresa is extremely friendly, accommodating, approachable, and perhaps the most-talkative innkeeper we have ever encountered. She allowed us to arrive early and upon arrival she shared information about things to do, where to eat, and how to get around – all unnecessary but nonetheless fun since she only spoke German. The bathroom was clean and spacious, but our... More

Mirabell is an easy walk from the heart of Partenkirchen, on a quiet street apart from the tourism bustle. The Bradlers are charming and nice, and despite the language barrier (Therese speaks limited English and her husband none), still managed to help us with lots of information about the area. They even went out of their way to lead us... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Teresa and her husband were great! Although they don't speak English fluently, she is very good with using hand gestures and motions to help get her point across (she also knows the important English words). They gave us good recommendations on places to eat and helped us when we needed to call a taxi... More

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Close to the train station, but you could take a taxi for about 12 euros. Room was spacious, clean, and quite. Lots of hot water. No A/C but temps were very comfortable. Breakfast was cold meats, cheese, some cereals, breads, and fruits. Teresa and her husband were great. Near everything. We visited the old and... More
