Welcoming staff, an old and traditional house with modern amenities, clean and simple room. Tee and coffee supply throughout the day, even kettle in the room (!) Location: convenient for public transport (10 min walk to Bahnhof) and to the historical centre (10 min walk up). Sleep quality: as close to the river, sleeping with open window during the spring...

The family that owned this small hotel really does a great job. All the folks that work there as well as the family call themselves "Team Bavaria". It is very evident that they care about the Hotel and the guests that visit. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the train station and a spectacular view of the mountains. I...

My son and I have been traveling southern Bavaria from 03/01/2017 - 03/11/2017, for his Senior Spring Break. We have enjoyed our time at other hotels but when we arrived for 2 nights at the Hotel Bavaria, we knew we were in heaven. From the moment of check in, I can promise that you will feel like you are staying...

The Hotel Bavaria is a quaint hotel in an ideal location, just a ten-minute walk from the train station, and another ten minutes to the old town. The country style hotel sits on a hill, and many rooms have a balcony. The room was simple and spacious enough for two people with an updated bathroom, although the jacuzzi tub did...

Located within walking distance of the train station and the lovely Berchtesgaden town center, Hotel Bavaria is a delightful and ideally situated place to stay. We spent five nights here. In the town center (an eight minute walk from the hotel) are an assortment of restaurants, beer gardens, high quality coffee/bakery shops, small grocery stores, clothing boutiques, wine shops, scenic...

Sadly we were only here for one night but what a wonderful experience. The people working here go out of their way to help and to make sure you are comfortable. The hotel has a 24 hour tea and coffee station with 30+ types of tea. The room had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The breakfast was spectacular I...

My family and I stayed one night at the charming Hotel Bavaria. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was vast and delicious. We had breakfast near a large picture window with great views of the town. Parking was easy and it is in walking distance to the city center and restaurants. I would...

The Hotel Bavaria is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It has a lovely atmosphere with its Bavarian charm and large, very well appointed and impeccably clean rooms. The breakfast area is spacious and guests are welcome to free tea and coffee throughout the late morning and into the night while alcoholic beverages can be bought on an...

Friends of ours had recommended this hotel for its great location for exploring Berchtesgaden. It is close to the train station, walking tour, city center, and restaurants. We arrived on a snowy afternoon and knew immediately that the staff was caring and helpful. Our room had a nice balcony and overlooked the river. The snow made the town magical. The...
