the hotel is owned by a Greek family (from what I saw), it is located near the center of Bayreuth. It is an average hotel and clean. The breakfast is ok, it should have been better with a large variety of sweets and fresh fruits.

My partner and I spent a day and half here at the end of Jan this year. The hotel is run by a Greek family and has a Greek restaurant downstairs. It's centrally located and ZOH(bus stand) is just a 5 min walk away. The rooms are very basic but bed linens and the bathroom were generally clean. Breakfast was...

I stayed at this hotel for about a week. The room was clean and adequate for my needs, including a comfortable desk. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very well located, right next to town center. In conclusion, good value for money.

Whilst this is a centrally located hotel in Bayreuth, it is short on ambience and amenity!! We booked a double room, which ended up being two single beds vertically arranged - that was all the space allowed - with a high single window; dark, dingy and uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok.

If you look for a nice hotel, you better book early (at a place you can cancel w/o charge, if you do not need it). Other than that, its location is great - nice to walk to the market, to Villa Wahnfried and the Richard Wagner Museum, etc. If you arrive early you may need a phone to call for...

This is pleasant enough for a few days......basic, but fit for purpose. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. The best thing was the breakfast, wide choice of items, I especially liked the mini chocolate croissants and the slices of fruit. If I were staying longer, perhaps I would go somewhere else, but it was fine for 3 days. (...

The breakfast with (among many other things) feta cheese and smoked salmon was a pleasant surprise. The location is pretty near the city center, the main bus station, and 15 minutes walking distance from the main train station. Finally, the greek restaurant at the reception is very good and traditional. On the negative side, the bathroom of my room was...

My first advice is that if you are coming by sat nav car to Bayreuth for the Festspiels, you don't need a hotel room in town. Next time I would look for some of the usually quite nice, small hotels that you find outside German cities near the Autobahn off ramps. Traveling is about coming home with good stories about...

I wouldn't normally have thought of staying here, but I'd left my booking for the Festspiele time too late and this was the only place that had a room available. (Tip: book a hotel room as soon as your tickets arrive). The room, though, was comfortable and clean. It was indeed small but had everything necessary, including free Wifi throughout...

You expect to pay over the odds during the Festspiele. Rooms were clean and comfortable in a basic way. Being in the center of town was a big plus. Not sure owner really understood what the festival was about. An iron was not a possibility even if you ask for one. The least positive aspect was completely lack of charm...
