I read some bad reviews and I can't understand what warranted that reaction?! Our room was very large. Sure, it wasn't the most stylishly decorated but the bedding was phenomenal, so comfortable. The bathroom was fully renovated and very large! The hotel does not have AC so if it's hot out be prepared! We were also pleased with the breakfast.... More

This is without doubt the worst hotel/guest house/bed & breakfast that I have stayed in Europe in the past 10 years. The receptionist on check was surly enough to be classifed as rude and made us wait for at least 10 minutes before even asking if she could help. We arrived on a hot day, the room we checked into... I loved the exterior of the place. It was vintage. I loved where it was located. In the middle of the road, the downtown area is nearby. 10 min by walking. However, I didnt get a good night's sleep in it. The bed and the pillows were way too soft and low for my liking and there wasn't an AC... More

Just outside the centre of Stuttgart (10 minute walk to the heart of the centre), this is a very nice hotel. It looks a bit outdated on the website, but in reality this is not the case at all. Good, spacious, modern rooms (we had the room for three, which consists of two separate rooms which is nice). We did... More

Eccentric well placed hotel walking distance (hilly) from the city centre. Amazing Koi pools are a bizarre addition to the hotel. On a main street with trams, so front facing rooms can be noisy, but good atmosphere and fantastic restaurant. Very old school family run feel.

We booked two rooms (#115, #221) in the main building for a total of 3 adults and one child. Room 221 had a small balcony facing the koi pond and an external A/C. Room 115 faced the busy highway with no balcony and no A/C. In the heat of summer, the A/C made all the difference in the world. Breakfast... More

Yes is very near of the street, but the people there are great and they are helping you at every step. I even forget my ipad in my room and after a week I pick it up from my postal box. I paid for the transport but it was a nice surprise to have it back. Thank you zur Weinsteige... More

I should have paid more carefully to the tips.. Ended up with a room facing the street.. On a hot day like today, the choice I have was either die of heat (small room with no a/c, just a small electric fan in the desk) or open the window and get the high noise pollution (cars, trams...!) Other than that,... More

This hotel was voted #7 on TripAdvisor for its restaurant and I must say any positive/high feedback is true!! The meal was fabulous (has a menu that changes often) and service impeccable (and we were a group of 6). I highly recommend trying the restaurant! We stayed 4nts at the family owned hotel, and found the location very convenient. Rooms... More

Great family owned hotel. Service was excellent. Room well appointed and clean. The walk to shopping and the train station was not bad. The food was exceptional both at breakfast and dinner. Would definitely recommend this quaint hotel but request a room in the back since it is on a main road.
