I stayed there with a friend for three nights. The only slight inconvenience was that this hotel was some way from Stuttgart city centre but it was very near a U-bahn stop. Otherwise everything else was almost perfect. The hotel room was big, quiet, warm and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was buffet service and had a large variety of high-quality food; I am particularly impressed with their Birchermuesli. We were so impressed with their breakfast that, on the last day, we asked to buy two packed breakfasts (on top of the breakfasts we had) to serve as lunch on our long train journey. The hotel staff kindly waived the costs and said they would give them to us as presents. Thank you!
The outstanding service started when I had some concerns and questions. I decided to email the hotel and the detailed email I received from them a few days before my trip, eased my mind to the point where I knew I had chosen the right hotel. When we finally arrived, the staff was so welcoming and the wonderful staff just continued their outstanding service I received throughout my 11 day stay. I was pleasantly surprised by their clean and inviting lobby. We appreciated their free breakfast daily and the breakfast staff was always very attentive. We also were able to have dinner at the restaurant a few times and we even used their gym once. We were always greeted with a smile and the staff always tried their best to answer our questions or help us with anything we needed help with. We stayed in a room for 4 people and we loved it. It was like a small studio except it had a separate bedroom with a full bed. We always felt so comfortable and it was like a little home to us for those 11 days. The train was just steps away.…
Pro: spacious. Room is decent tho admittedly shows signs of tear (curtains actually had tiny holes in them only noticeable cos of the light from outside). Good, firm bed mattress. Quiet location. One minute walk to the Kursaal Station. Free coffee, water, tea, and hot choco at ground level. Cons: Pillow is too soft and flat. Security concerns listed as follows : 1. Deadbolt could not be locked. Turning it does not move the lock at all. 2. On one day that we chose to stay in our room, we saw late morning that our door was opened. We immediately checked our things to ensure that nothing was missing and thankfully, we doesn't think anything was taken yet still raises suspicions. 3. We have always kept DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and have also instructed front desk not to have room cleaned during our stay. HOWEVER, on one day that we stayed in late, house cleaning opened our door and suddenly exclaimed "Oh, you're still here". Again, this was despite the DND sign on the door and the DO NOT CLEAN pouch that they have. Sure, it was the day that we check out but this was just before 10am and check-out time was 12.…
Great hotel near the city centre of Stuttgart. Staff was nice, room was clean. This hotel had everything we wanted. Indoor closed parking next to the hotel to leave your car. Definately recommend this hotel.
I have booked this hotel because it is close to the Mercedes Museum. It was a great surprise. The staff is extremely friendly, rooms are very clean. THe breakfast is very good and served in the nearby restaurant. Parking (extra to pay) available with direct access to the hotel. Definitely a great choice.
