Situated opposite the Weilimdorf S Bahn station, just a stop from Korntal. This Holiday Inn is modern, very clean, practical and seems to be very efficiently run. Nice spacious bedrooms, well appointed rooms and bathrooms . Decent selection of dishes at the Breakfast Buffet, let down by a very limited "Covid", or weekend dinner menu. Overall ticked all the boxes and would consider this hotel for future stays.
This hotel is actually a bit outside of Stuttgart in Weilimdorf. But there’s a train station just opposite of the hotel, and trains go to Stuttgart every half an hour or so and the journey takes less than 20 minutes. The hotel itself was a typical Holiday Inn geared towards the needs of business travellers but was perfectly fine for a family 1-night stay. Clean rooms and nothing to complain about. The hotel staff even sent a forgotten item to one of our following hotels. So good service overall! Parking available at the hotel garage, but there’s metered parking just in front of the hotel that was considerably cheaper for our purposes.
Spent two nights here on a recent business trip to Stuttgart. Chose this hotel as it was handily placed for one of the customers I was visiting. Safe underground parking with direct access to the hotel from the garage. I received an upgrade to an executive room which was very nicely appointed and spotlessly clean. Ate a meal in the bar on the first night which was decent without being spectacular. Decent choice of beers in the bar. Hotel is ideally located to get in and out of Stuttgart using the excellent public transport system. The S-Bahn station is literally outside the front door of the hotel across a small car park. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them
On the outskirts of town, in an office area. nothing around, do not think to take a walk, I tried but I gave up. parking beneath. Quite dated hotel has been undergoing some renovation, some room are nice some not so much. the common area is nice and renovated, bright and spacious. My "renovated" but standard room was OK, I mean if they could get rid of the worn carpet it would help. But I am not complaining about the room itself, it's fine in the end. the problem was the temperature inside the room, for sure above 25C, thick air. Heating in the room was off - I asked internal personnel to check - I slept with the window open mid November, I don't like this and in the end I had a bad night. Also, it gets a bit noisy due to traffic. I had dinner - veeeery busy restaurant and yet quite good and friendly service. My burger was OK. Breakfast for 20 eur - I said not thank you, there is a small bakery at the train station in front of the hotel - it was much cheaper .... My gold status was recognized and staff has been extremely helpful and friendly.…
The hotel was easy to find (with GPS) and seems to have enough parking (we found a space on the first level). The location is good for visiting the companies with offices nearby but otherwise is remote for the city. The saving grace is that there is a railway station just outside the hotel with regular (every 10-15 minutes?) trains into the city centre with services running until late evening. Rooms are comfortable, if slightly dated, and the staff were all friendly. The breakfast was definitely better than the usual Holiday Inn offer. Room prices seem to be exorbitant (seems to be a fact of life in Stuttgart), but I 'bought' the rooms using IHG points. Recommended for those who don't mind taking the train to the city centre or are passing through.
The decor was a bit dated for my choice and pillows were a big staff. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. I would say it’s better than average if there was a gods rating. The bed was comfy and it was booked as part of a trip so was very suitable for purpose.
Positive - local train station is just across the street - many international companies have their regional HQ close by - friendly personnel - free wifi (although with confusing comment on the login page, that only 2 devices are free – but I used 4 and it was still free) - breakfast – good selection of food, but the breakfast room is a little bit “sterile” Negative - only 2 elevators – expect waiting times during “rush hours” - nothing much around teh hotel (just the train station and office buildings)
very friendly staff on arrival, check in was quick enough. bedrooms are clean and very comfortable. all mod-cons you need for an enjoyable stay. the breakfast is lovely. i will definitely stay here on my next visit to stuttgart
Excellent hotel if you are in the Stuttgart area for either Business or pleasure. Excellent location, excellent staff and excellent facility. Access to S-Bahn for travel to city center is literally across the street. I highly recommend this facility for either business or leisure.
I try to stay at this hotel whenever I travel to Stuttgart. Very convenient to the train, literally right outside. The staff is tremendous! I have been there a lot but they know my name, what I like to drink and even sometimes what I want for dinner! I can’t say enough good, but shout out to the restaurant staff from the US! Thanks for making it a home away from home!
