Looks ok on the outside but no idea where the car park is when you arrive, that’s because it’s way down the road nowhere near the hotel. After parking and walking with bags you are then greeted by a rude unwelcoming receptionist. Rooms are small and grubby with scuffed walks and no kettle or drink making facilities or a safe. When requesting an iron they also don’t have one. So if you want to pay over the odds for a night in a hotel with no facilities this is your place!
Picked as an alternative to a more central hotel on a one night stopover on the way north. Located in a business district so not much around in the immediate area of the hotel, but right next to trains to the centre of the city and a short drive to other facilities. Roughly 10 mins to city centre on a cheap train ride. Fairly standard Ibis Styles though I found rooms to be a bit smaller than I have experienced elsewhere. Couldn’t find the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby either but that could be Covid related. Room comfortable and quiet. Breakfast pretty uninspiring and much less choice that I had when staying at the other Styles in Stuttgart, what was available was fine, but not as good as expected. Overall a decent choice and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the autobahn.…
My company reserved a room for 3 nights at 525€, breakfast not included , already a crazy price for 3 nights. When arriving they charge me 598€ in advance for the 3 nights without breakfast. that is 200 Euro for a very small room without fridge , no breakfast , non working climate system… Manager did not want to come out the backroom to discuss..When looking on arrival date online same room , same dates are 427€ for 3 nights. in front of hotel a price of 139€ per night is advertised. Conclusion: avoid this hotel and if you have no alternative , book last minute via booking.com
The most impressive part of this trip was the staff. Most have a neutral attitude towards traveling business people, this place is different. The staff here is one of the most customer oriented that I have seen. Most impressive were Sandrine on the day shift and Halyna on the night shift; These two are the "Hostess with the Mostest". They know the best restaurants that deliver and the best ones to dine-in. They can offer train and bus service ideas and both double as great bartenders. Halyna is the best; covers the prime check-in time, tends to the bar and does the late evening prep for next days breakfast. Amazing Staff. Rooms are great for the traveler, comfy beds, well lighted work space in room and larger than expected for the price. Breakfast is outstanding; wide variety of breads, meats, cheeses ,fresh fruits, juices and includes fresh cooked eggs. A great way to start the day.…
Rooms are spacious, compared to other hotels. Convenient workspace with outlets, good lighting and free Wi-Fi in room. Due to Covid, Housekeeping is by request and is very good and thorough. Breakfast is fantastic; A wide assortment of breads, cereals, meats, chesses, fresh fruit, juices and eggs. What "Seal the Deal" here is the staff. They are SUPER Friendly, always a smile and speak many languages. They are "The Hostess with the Mostest" . I can speak highly of Halyna on the night shift and Sandrine on the day shift; Both fluent in English/German and others. They had the answers for sights, trains, buses, good restaurants (some even deliver) a and could answer most inquiries. Supreme multi-tasking!!
The rooms are very clean and fancy, the mattresses are super comfortable and the duvet is very soft. Unfortunately we paid the breakfast because we love to have breakfast in hotels but it was a terrible choice. There was almost nothing to eat, the cappuccinos were undrinkable and the cheese of the sandwiches was horrible.
The hotel Is ok. Clean and modern. I found the room quiet but not that well soundproofed. Could hear the room next to mine snoring. As for the Styles side...did not find it particularly stylish... The lurid green splashed on the carpet ...the green walls...frankly not a great and restful look. Finally the bed is hard (I don't mind a firm bed...but felt too hard) and the pillows also not that comfy...the duvet also too small... All in all there are better budget options this side of Stuttgart.
Modern hotel, clean and comfortable. 5 min to S-bahn and 8 min to U-bahn station. Room a little to small, no place to open large baggage. Breakfast was ok, omelette, sausage, ham, yoghurts, fruits, different kind of bread. Personnel was very kind and helpful, helped us with ordering taxi too.
Neither the online check-in nor the reception check-in informed me of a 25 EUR extra charge for checking in early. In my case, this hidden charge added 28% to my bill. If I would have been told about this extra charge when I checked in at 12:00 noon, I would have left my luggage at the reception, gone to my meeting and checked in later.
This hotel is super clean, nice, stylish and cozy. The location is fantastic. Close to S bahn, just 5 minutes walking. you can easy reach Stuttgard Messe/airport , so the city center. Both aprox. 15 min by S bahn.
