This hotel is close to the train station. The room was clean and quiet. Front desk people were very helpful. Short walk to the water tower and city center. Nice breakfast that was relaxing. I would stay here again.

The hotel is simple, nothing fancy. But it's clean, the staff is very friendly and cooperative, and location is very convenient: a block away from the train station. The hotel offers complementary WIFI (reasonable speed) and offers good breakfast

My room was clean and comfortable, I was pleased with how close the hotel was to the train station as it made getting around easier. I felt I got very good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We got off of a night train at 6am, and the front desk was more than happy to let us check in early. The English-speaking staff was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was fantastic downstairs, but spotty in our room. Everything was as you'd expect from a typical 3-star hotel near the train station.

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay in Mannheim and the Bismarck seemed to fit the bill - close to the train station, close to the city centre, close to the Christmas markets, and reasonably priced. We were pleased to find that the hotel met all of these needs very well and the friendly service on our arrival was...

This hotel is one of the best value places I have stayed at in Europe. For 99 euros we got a top floor double room, excellent beds and lighting and a decent sized bathroom with good towels. The people in the front office were exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was both substantial and of very high quality in terms of...

I stayed at Am Bismarck for one night after booking through Booking.com. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the train station. The reception personnel was kind. The room was spacious (a doubled bed for a single room); the bathroom was small though, yet with a sufficiently large shower. The room was very clean. Even though I was staying...

This stay was for 2 days on business. The hotel is quite dated. The furniture in the reception area is worn and the reception desk area looks as though it is out of the 1980s! The only eating option if you want to stay in the hotel is a rather formal restaurant. The food is very good but just a...

Stayed for a week at this hotel for business studies, on my own budget. Friendly and helpful staff, clean (although slightly dated) rooms and a wide selection of breakfast options at the breakfast bar (only breakfast available). Close to main road so some traffic noises late evening (with window open) but most local hotels are have same issue. Good location...

We enjoyed a delightful stay at the Hotel, just a short walk to one of the largest Christmas Markets in Germany. We did not feel like customers we felt like welcome friends. The Hotel was easy to find from the main train station Mannheim, we could see the statue of Barren Von Bismark with his spiked helmet. We walked right...

“Ask for an inside room. The hotel is on quite a busy road. One of the evenings I stayed was when Germany beat Brazil 7-1 in the World Cup and there was a LOT of celebrating with shouting and horns blaring but I hardly heard it at all because I was on the inside of the hotel”
