Beautifully decorated hotel, a little tired in parts but a beautiful clen room - and good value with our very late booking. Close to all resaturanst etc - 5-10 minutes walk, yet nice quiet location. Nice frienly staff and nice buffet breakfast.

A very old hotel, where everything was very old: furniture, carpet, bath, everything!!! Breakfast very poor, with few options, and those of questionable quality. Rooms are noisy, I do hear people from other rooms or residents in neighboring scale. Although I made a reservation Park January, when I arrived (in July) were not parking

Quiet and unpretentious in quite a pretty old building, with clean rooms and serving a very good breakfast in the attached Japanese restaurant (the breakfast room is probably the most characterful thing here, a mix of old wooden beams and delicate screens). Disappointingly, although advertised as taking last orders at 10 the restaurant closed at 9:30 on the evening I...

This hotel is not the prettiest of hotels. It is pretty basic but is very conveniently located. The front desk staff is very kind and all very pretty. I was amazed at how pretty they were, almost as if one has to be a contestant on Heidelberg's Next Top Model or something. The rooms are well provided but, there is...

The good points about the Schonbergerhof are several, the location is right around the corner from the pedestrian zone. The breakfast is better than average and there is safe parking if you request it. The room we had was spacious and the beds were clean and crisp. But the thing I remember 2 months after staying there are the pillows...

We arrived in Heidelberg on our way back from the Alps on our Motorcycles. We had no where planned to stay when we came across this hotel. We were greeted warmly by the gentleman on reception, and we were given a two bed apartment on one of the upper floors. Spacious, and with a very large bathroom ( and an...

Good enough breakfast.Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had high ceilings and was clean Negatives: There's no lift (so pack light), when asked at...

An old fashioned hotel with large bedrooms and high ceilings. Hardly modernised but still with all necessary facilities. Clean rooms and charming staff. An excellent buffet breakfast. Easy wander into the old town and across the bridge to do the attractive Philosophers Walk. We would definitely recommend it as it is good value.

The hotel is located close to the Congress Hall and in front of the Neckar River. In an all building, the rooms have lovely high ceilings and ours had these huge windows that you can open and take a look at the river. The room was huge, although the bathroom small. Very quiet, with confortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was...

We booked a room at Hotel Schonberger Hof shortly after we arrived via the Internet. We arrived at the hotel 20 minutes later and our booking was confirmed and the room was ready. The room was huge and classic – the bathroom and shower were small. The hotel is not on the busy street and the sleep quality was very...

“Room 16 was great! We loved the veranda...it was especially nice because we were vacationing with the people who we shared the veranda with, so we had easy access to each other's rooms. Keep this in mind if you book that room.”
