Visited Heidelberg from 14th -18th Feb 2017. The hotel is easy to reach from train station and nicely located in the old part of town, a walking distance from the castle, old bridge and University. The building is heritage.. built in 1703 but the rooms are good with modern toilets and showers. The only down side was the breakfast served..only...

Reception was hard to find as it was at another hotel around the corner which when the taxi has dropped you outside to be told you have to walk around the corner in the pouring rain does not help your mood. The room was clean and tidy if a little small great shower but all this comfort was wasted on...

Really nice, tastefully done, modern rooms and bathrooms in the most central location in Heidelberg's old town with a great restaurant offering old student decor that is worth dinner there, plus food is good value, tasty (traditional German grandma style) and 1 liter boots of beer. Only problem is you cannot drive right up to drop off your luggage and...

I can speak only for the restaurant, one of the worst service ever. The staff is impolite we waited for more than an hour for the main course and the food is below average. Seemed also like it was not properly cooked. The ambient is typical German and it was the only positive thing about this place.

Lunch venue after a walk along Philosophenweg. Very delicious roast pork hock and turkey schnitzel with sheep's cheese. Am planning a longer stay in Heidelberg in 2017, and will return to the warm, friendly atmosphere of this restaurant. The stained glass windows are very beautiful.

The hotel is located in a historic building at the entrance to the old bridge over the Neckar. Rooms are small, but they have everything you need. A good breakfast is served in the room of the pub at the bottom of the hotel. An ideal place to explore Heidelberg.

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel and can't recommend it enough. Firstly the location is unbeatable, you are in the heart of the old town. The old bridge is at the bottom of the street and you are just a few steps away from the Main Street filled with shops and bars. What I found pleasantly...

In the heart of the old town, walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. The room(15) in which we stayed was spacious but cozy and modern and quiet. The breakfast is included in a fair price. The staff is very supportive. The garage is a little far away but there really is no place to park in the old part...

Booked the hotel in the last minutes based on the review from other blog. It should be a easy task to walk from Alstad station to the check-in. But the google map guide me to a completely different places! Anyway, the check-in is easy and staff was pretty friendly to take u to the room where they don't have lift...

Hotel is located in the very center of Old Town, minutes walk from the Castle and the Old Bridge. Reception is located in the neighboring hotel, but I did not feel that was a problem, as the people at the reception were very friendly, spoke good English, and eager to help when asked to call a taxi. My room was...

“I had the only room on the very top floor, I would not recommend this room! My colleagues had rooms on lower floors, and those rooms were much more spacious. If you are an older person or have difficulty climbing stairs, this hotel is not for you.”
