This is a perfect place to stay outside of Treiberg. The room was clean and the staff helpful, in addition to being able to speak English. The food for dinner and was out standing even if you eat no red meat or bird/pork. Breakfast was also more extensive even for a continental.

We stayed here during stay to nearby Triberg. The wifi didn't reach our room, but the room was comfortable and was so quiet that we heard cows mooing through our open windows. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and obviously a favorite with locals. We also took a quick walk along some of the trails outside the hotel. Next...

I have visited the Black Forest many times, but I have never felt like I'd found the perfect place-- until now. For years, I have searched for a little Black Forest chalet that is in an isolated spot-- not on a busy highway, for goodness sakes--- or decorated in a contemporary style, for goodness sakes! Gasthaus Staude is what I've...

We decided very spontaneously to stay here and were not disappointed in the slightest. Comfortable room with a good shower, complimentary bathrobes, balcony etc. The restaurant isn't Michelin star fancy, but it IS very good. Just the perfect kind of place for a Gasthaus in the Black Forest with just enough "urig"-ness. The Chef makes a habit of coming out...

We stayed here for the second time and had another wonderful experience. Very comfortable with friendly staff and great food. The waitress, Gulsum, was exceptionally helpful. It's a lovely area for walking and our dog was very welcome in the hotel. Can't wait to go back!

The guesthouse is quite old and scenic (there are miles of hiking trails) and a bit out of the way, but the rooms are updated and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful. However, absolutely take the time to have dinner there...we had a large party and everyone ordered something different. It was excellent and the service was outstanding. We had a wonderful...

Beautiful and familiar Hotel. Very quiet situated and worth the 5 minutes away from down town Triberg! The location is a dream! The Cuisine is outstanding and a dream! The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. Do not expect a super modern hotel....it is traditional and unmodern but very cozy! Free fast speed wifi was also available:-)...

Hotel is over 300 years old so you must expect some narrow hallways and older furnishings. Baths have been updated. Staff speaks some English and are helpful. Location is good because you are removed from the tourist noise of Triberg but still within about six miles from downtown. Please see my restaurant reviews separately for this area. It was very...

We booked this guesthouse from the information center in Triberg and dint expect it to be so far out in the mountains, but once we found it we were pleasantly surprised and stayed two nights. It was a good base to explore the Black forest area if you had your own car. The guest house was full so we were...

This was a lovely mountain hotel. The view was beautiful. The food was good and plentiful. The staff was very pleasant. However, my non-smoking room was (I assume) above a smoking room so it smelled of cigarette smoke. if I kept the bathroom door shut the room was ok but the smell in the bathroom was unbearable.
