We had a perfectly wonderful stay at this hotel during our long weekend in Freiburg. I agonised a little over the price and location, given that it's above my normal price bracket and a little outside of the city centre, however I'm very glad I chose this place in the end. The building is lovely and quirky, the staff all...

When arriving by car, this hotel is very easily reached, a short distance from the Autobahn exit and then entering a quiet residential area. This is just two miles away from the main industrial area of Freiburg, so ideally located for business travellers. Large free parking space behind the hotel. Friendly staff at reception. The elevator to the fourth (highest)...

We stayed at this hotel and thought it was nice. It is a little far from the city, so you take a tram in to town. It is also in a weird residential location, so not much in the way of restaurants and activities. It was the only place in Germany we stayed in that had a bathtub which was...

This hotel had one of the biggest rooms of any we stayed in while in Germany. There was a bathtub which was excellent for the sore muscles after walking all day. The room was immaculate and the hotel staff went above and beyond in terms of service and friendliness. They helped with finding tram stops, even explaining construction and directing...

We stayed at this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews which was very helpful to us. Our room was very comfortable and lovely, the food was great, great parking, and QUIET. Loved the tram accessibility to the city. Some staff were great; others not so nice. Highly recommend this hotel and good price. Loved free wifi; hard to get in...

We picked this hotel on the recommendations on Tripadvisor and yes it is a nice friendly hotel but I think we had been expecting more. We requested a room with a view of the mountains but ended up on the 2nd floor with a view of a crane and works being undertaken on removing a roof on a nearby house….not...

We were very comfortable and greatly enjoyed our three night stay at Hotel Restaurant Bierhäusle. The dinners and breakfasts in the restaurant were excellent and throughout our visit the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This is a well-run family hotel. The hotel is well located being near a tram stop to take you into Freiburg and is close to...

Beyond Friendly. We used this hotel as a home base while taking a day trip down to Art Basel. Not fancy, won't peak any sort of 'design' interest. Very clean. The restaurant was packed with locals both nights we stayed, so I'm assuming the food was good. I had to post a positive review based on how NICE they were....

A wonderful hotel at the western edge of Freiburg. It's a 9 min tram-journey from the Altstadt of Freiburg, so it'll be a little quieter (for good or bad) than staying downtown. It's convenient for people arriving by car, being 5 mins drive from the autobahn exit. The hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are large, airy, and most...

Spacious, airy rooms with free Wi-Fi and a large bathroom with a modern shower, terrace with comfortable chairs just right to sip a glass of wine in the afternoon sun. Sumptuous breakfast and the food at the hotel restaurant was excellent.Tram at the end of the street with frequent and short travels to the city center.
