We stayed for one night; we arrived before the c/i time, but they were ready to welcome us( with a glass of proseco too). We stayed in the attic, and we had a very nice view of the hills surounding Freiburg; it was a beautiful cosy place to stay, with enough space for some pirouettes, very clean and at an...

Clean and nice rooms with good comfortable beds. We were missing a possibilty to make a tee or a coffee, which should be a normal equipment today. Breakfast is a little expensive. Negative aspects: Check in only from 3pm. If you are lodged in the "Gästehaus", avoid the rooms on ground floor and / or with street exposure, because they...

Nice simple location close to large downtown shopping area and sites. Has interesting outdoor bar area which is used by all. Rooms are safe and daily maid service keeps them very clean ! We did not eat the offered breakfast at 15 EU instead walked and had coffee in the many different shops in the area but the dining area...

Positive points: the receptionists are very nice and well located. Negative things: The hotel has several buildings. Our triple room was located crossing the street. It was a big room but in the ground floor and that means a lot of hot inside. In the afternoon it was impossible to stay inside. We have to sleep with and small ventilator...

We stayed 4 nights in guesthouse A - we were lucky enough to get a room with a balcony. Bed was comfortable - nice pillows and room service ensured the room was very clean. Parking space is a bonus but costs €14 daily. Our only complaint is there was no refrigerator nor tea / coffee making facilities in the room...

Good location, very near Altestadt. Rooms large and clean but Guesthaus is noisy both due to clientele and low soundproofing of rooms. I was able to hear a TV playing faintly all night Breakfast is seriously overpriced - go to one of the many restaurants in the Altestadt. Room functional but somewhat dated.

We had a double room in the guest house part of this hotel - very spacious indeed - obviously part of a larger family apartment with a couple of rooms locked - so we had a hallway and bathroom across from the bedroom. Very clean and comfortable and our room had balcony with morning sun and view. Very clean and...

I stayed here for 4 nights, and overall it was a good experience. The staff are top notch, the breakfast is awesome, and the location is perfect (a 5 minute walk from the picturesque old city, where I wandered extensively). My room was nice -- not big, but neither was the price. The issue is noise. The walls are paper...

My husband and I found this hotel on the internet when we were looking for a hotel that was no too expensive. For under 70 euro, it was not bad. The lobby was actually in a building across the street from the hotel rooms. The lobby was nice and the people that checked us in were very friendly and helpful...

This was a last minute, day of booking for me. I was arriving late to Freiburg and I needed a place that would allow me to check in after 10:00 pm in the fall that wasn't terribly expensive. That's a lot of criteria to fill and this hotel fit every single aspect that I was looking for. The hotel is...
