Absolutely catastrophic processing The overnight stay was already charged to me when I checked in, although we explicitly said that we had already booked and paid via a third-party provider. (Business trip) After a good month, I am still fighting for credit, as my private credit card was also charged. The staff only sporadically responds to my emails. No one knows their name and first name, so you never know who you are writing to. I have also emailed my cell phone number several times. It seems that nobody is interested. I am now taking legal action and find it really an absolute disaster how to act here.
The hotel has a sense of old style grandeur The room and en-suite bathroom was beautiful, spacious, very light and had great views and a terrace Service is very good indeed with sumptuous breakfast and excellent a la carte lunch and dinner
My arrival was greeted with a warm welcome. The blone Lady at the Reception has given me the greatest Hospitality I have experienced ever since. The Location itself is very near the center and right at the entrance of the Lichtentaller Allee with a beautiful Garden Park that stretches for miles. It gives the Guest a great feeling of comfort and wealth to an excellent price even. The most astounishing thing that I have experienced is food, which one can say to be great and beyond decent. My Wife and I had a great Fish with perfect Wine. In total it is impossible to complain about anything, since the Service is even tho still in training, excellnt build, performed and taught to others. The Atlantic Parkhotel is the perfect place for romantic couples, to every season in the year!…
have booked via Booking 2 weeks prior a double room to stay at Atlantic Park Hotel for 1 night to celebrate my Birthday which was a week ago, in Baden-Baden. Today, On my way to the hotel, I have called them to inform the reception on my exact arrival time. During the call, I have been told, that they could not offer me any room due to a water damage and that they had informed Booking on this incidence. Ms. Schwemmler was very rude and arrogant during the call and not at all helpfull. She did not even offer me an alternative room and told me to contact Booking, since she cannot spend time with me on the phone arguing. She also told me that for 130 Euro what she will apperantly get from Booking, its not worth it. I have made the reservation for 177 Euro, and have never experienced such unprofessional and rude behaviour anywhere in the world. Once I called Booking, to find out why I have been not contacted on this issue,I have been told that the Hotel did not even contact Booking on this problem. Later when I called the Hotel, to tell them this, Ms. Schwemmler has not even listened to me and just hang up the phone on my face. I have driven more than 400 km's for nothing! This is the most unprofessional Hotel I have ever experienced. Never ever again!!!…
We stayed in this hotel for three night and we passed a really great holiday. All is perfect : the receptionists are lovely, the staff at breakfast room is ready to satisfied any request and always with a smile ; the restaurant is amazing like coffee bar too. We eat and drink during the day so well in a quiet atmosphere listening the water because of the river next to the hotel. Our bedroom was really beautiful , large, full and well furnished with view on the wonderful park. Hotel always cleaned respecting the quite of rest and relaxation. Compliments to the housekeeping service. We suggest to have a relaxing holiday here. We'll come back surely . Lovely place, lovely hotel. Marida Benassi from Italy
After a difficult search for its location,I find its reserved parking space for 3 cars for offloading my suitcases,2 spaces out of 3 are occupied all day long by staff! A public underground parking lot located 200 meters away must be used. As weather is pretty warm,I ask for a room with air con.A 50% surcharge is required. The room has no aircon,an out of order fridge and wifi is impossible. The receptionists were aware of that but did not care. After my demand for a useful room,I get one with WiFi,fridge and aircon.I go to the balcony and discover that it is surrounded by a lot of cigarette buds,no cleaning was done for a long time.Impossible to stay with that surrounding!. This hotel needs a total refurbishment and a competent staff.
My girlfriend and I visited the hotel twice while being in Baden-Baden this summer. The host and owner - a blond woman about 40 years old - gave us the most fantastic service and made us feel completely at home. If we had a need or a request; she made it possible with short notice. The restaurant of the hotel has an extensive winelist with some of the best wines in the world priced mindblowingly low. We even ended up buying a lot of wine from the restaurant to bring home to Denmark. The food was OK but not the best - seems like Germany in its entirety has not moved on since the 90'es when it comes to food at restaurants. However, the whole atmosphere at this hotel is very unique - it's almost like being back in la Belle Epoque with all of the vintage furniture in mahogany, big piano, cigar lounges, red and gold curtains etc. Unfortunately, we didn't stay at the hotel but only came there to eat and drink of the wonderful winelist. Next time, there is no doubt we are staying at the Atlantic Parkhotel. I'm quite sure that all Danes would love this hotel - so this is a huge recommendation from me and my girlfriend.…
Great location, quiet and old charm surrounds you. Lots of things were not ideal with our checkin (room not available, no baggage cart available, price was different than initially quoted) BUT the manager of the hotel was in the end kind and fair and made good on what we agreed on and gave us a larger room at no extra cost. Room was beautiful and made our stay very pleasant. Thank you
We arrived and truly enjoyed the surroundings and the overall look of the hotel itself. The location is fantastic and the atmosphere is lovely. However, right from the arrival, we had issues with the staff at the reception. We rang the bell several times, only after the sixth did the lady come in, while on the phone. Had to wait until she was done. Then they had several issues finding our booking. They didn't know what room we were supposed to be in, and how much it all was. They also claimed we had not paid for the room in advance, despite us showing them the confirmation. We had to call up the booking company to explicitly explain the situation to the reception. Throughout our stay, the receptionists were cold, did not care to explain or inform us where everything was at the hotel. They didn't offer to help with our luggage. And any questions we asked were answered in short, and unenthusiastic manners. We did not feel very welcome in the building. Breakfast was also poor. Virtually no choice of food. The waiter seemed to not know what he was doing, and the service was incredibly slow.…
We checked into this wonderful grand hotel. Great location (opposite of the famous Opera), a warm atmosphere and very friendly welcome by the owners upon checkin. The hotel has lots of memories and history. My favorite is the cigar bar -yes I smoke- in original German wood and style. A bit quiet inside with no music -like the restaurant- but you can choose your own music or play the piano. Will checkout the restaurant tomorrow. Best, Nicolaas
