The receptionist was unhelpful, we wanted parking, the receptionist told us that the parking spaces were taken, however this was not the case. The entrance to the car is very narrow, I drive a mid size suv and it took over 10 minutes careful manoeuvring to enter the car par and much longer to leave. The room was ok, but the bathroom is small, I thought less than 2 metres x 1.5 metres, it was small and difficult to use the bath/shower easily. The breakfast was very nice. Overall the hospitality and value for money were disappointing.

We had the worst experience with the lady at the reception. My boyfriend booked our room twice by mistake. She was unwilling to help us and incompetent to handle our request to cancel the second room. Through the policy of booking.com we found out that only a payment for the first night was required. During our stay I asked the receptionist multiple times to cancel the second room, but she refused. We never got the keys to that room though and didn't use it at all. I started to suspect that she tried to scam us. It all ended in a big confrontation: she threatened us, threw her keys and then ran away to hide in the kitchen for a while. She seemed unable to have a normal conversation about possible solutions and lacked any experience in customer service. Her behavior put a lot of stress on our trip and made the whole experience unpleasant for anyone involved.

Great service, lovely breakfast, super rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and smart TVs and an incredible location just minutes away from the centre of town, the spas and Lichtentaler Allee, which is a must.

To be honest, we didn't choose the hotel as I had won a stay of 2 nights with the tourist office of Baden Baden, which chose Hotel Etol for us. How lucky we were! Very clean rooms and bathrooms, superb breakfast buffet, very quiet, extremely central (max 10-minute walk to all the main tourist attractions) and the best staff one could wish for. There's a car park inside the courtyard (for an extra), make sure you book it in advance. I highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for this extremely pleasant stay with you.

Wanting to stay in the city center, and meeding a parking spot, and all that at a reasonable price, these are the factors that lead to selecting this hotel. And it did not dissapoint: could not be closer to everything, the car could be parked in a courtyard (although I would not want to squeeze a full size sedan through the gate or in one of the five or six spots), and the price was low enough for Baden-Baden. Of course, you have to settel with an outdated room with an extremely small bathroom. Breakfast was ok-ish, but lacked variety, and by the third morning was more or less on automatic pilot. The one big letdown is the Wifi, which was limited to one machine, so I could not use my laptop at all. My phone was extremely slow on the hotel network, too. My complaint was met with the all too familiar "noone ever compained about the Wifi before", which is 1. not believable and 2. does not resolve the issue.

A lovely hotel we stayed here prior the next leg of journey through the Black Forest and onto Austria. The hotel is clean and tidy and the breakfasts were varied and nutritious something for everyone. There is limited parking on site so best call in advance as there are about 6 spaces. The rooms are comfortable our room 215 was clean bright and airy. TV mini bar and complementary water and tea & coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size and fine. The town of Baden-Baden is well worth a visit some good tourist sites to visit along the main river. There are some great shops bring plenty of money though. Some good traditional eateries up towards the Roman / thermal baths. Enjoy!

they claimed they have undercover parking facilities, but they do not exist. We were forced to park the motorbike in an open space, without any door or protection. No lift available, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Also the state of the rooms doesn't correspond to what they show on their webpage

We stayed in a 2-bedroom familyroom. We had a lot of space and the room was very clean and nice. We loved the high ceilings. The location was great. Unfortunately there was no aircondition and the room was very hot in the evening. It was so hot it was actually hard to get some sleep. Lucklily we had our own fan with us. Breakfest was amazing with lots of different fruits and cheeses. We highly recommend this hotel.

Small Boutique Hotel centrally located, cosy, quiet with a wonderful Breakfast. Maria at Reception was just adorable. We stayed 2 days end of December and had a wonderful quiet and romantic stay. Walking distance from everything there is to do in Baden Baden including the spas we can't wait to return
