This is a very pleasant hotel located in an older part of town, which gives it even more character. The location is close to so many shops, restaurants, and attractions, yet it remains quiet around the hotel. We were not disappointed with our stay, and will gladly stay here on our next visit. The building itself dates back to the 1800s, and although it's been renovated, it's still retains its charm. The rooms are a very nice size, very clean, and we had a very comfortable king size bed. There is no air conditioning, but we were provided with fans. The rooftop terrace is a very pleasant place to go and sit and enjoy the quiet. The staff are very pleasant and helpful in every way. Miracle checked us in, and gave us many recommendations, along with helping us with our luggage. Claudia, who made our breakfast everyday, was very pleasant and personable, and she made sure that we did not leave hungry. Overall we enjoyed our stay here so very much!…
We stayed here for four nights to discover the delights of Baden Baden for the first time. What a great find this small hotel was - perfect location in between the main centre and the spa baths but tucked away in a quiet spot. From our arrival onwards all the staff were so friendly and helpful and very happy to give recommendations for places to eat, guidance on getting around by bus and advice on the spas. They even lent us some towels and bathrobes to take to the spa which was very kind and much appreciated. The quickest way to the centre is down a long flight of stone steps (there are lots of steps in B-B!) but you can also walk around a small block to get down/up without steps. Buses are a few minutes walk away in the centre. We would definitely recommend the hotel and hope to return one day!…
We were two couples travelling together and both agreed the hotel service was outstanding. In particular Sebastian was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. We spent time on the lovely roof top terrace enjoying happy hour with wine we were able to purchase at the hotel. Anything we needed the team accommodated us. The breakfast was very good value and great food. The breakfast team was also lovely and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The hotel, rooms, staff, service and breakfast were simply superb at this hotel. One of the best experiences we have ever had. Due to it being my partner's birthday during our stay, I requested at at time of booking for some things to be arranged. These were all done gladly by the staff, and carried out to perfection, in addition to some further touches I had not requested which was very thoughtful and generous. The staff were extremely warm, full of personality, and could not have made our stay more welcoming. The location is fantastic as it is tucked away in the town centre, so a a quiet but central location. The rooms and bathroom are of a good size and well furnished. The breakfast is excellent both in terms of value for money and quality; delivered to order and and with personal service. Potential guests may need to be aware that there is no lift, and although we carried our own luggage to our rooms, the staff did volunteer to do this for us. I couldn't recommend Hotel Rathausglockel more highly.…
We couldn't find anything to not like except the narrow stairs, but hey, that goes with the territory in a very old building like this. The staff, particularly Zoia (part owner), are wonderful. The location is excellent, although if you're coming from the river direction take the long route around to the right at the biergarten to avoid a bunch of stairs. Note that the check-in closes at 8:00 p.m., but if they know you will arrive after that they have a slick gadget by the front door that will spit a key out at you when you enter the PIN they emailed you. We loved it and would absolutely stay there again.
We recently stayed at Hotel Rathausglöckel for 2 nights. We stayed in one of the triple rooms. This was by far the best place we stayed throughout our entire trip. There is a convenient spot to pull up just outside the front door to unload/load your luggage. Upon check in, Jasmin greeted us with kindness and warmth. She checked us in, gave us our parking pass (only €10 per night), drew on a map of where we needed to go for parking, gave us a city discount card and gave us recommendations for dinner. She even carried one of our very heavy suitcases up the stairs for us. She also called for dinner reservations for us for the next day and helped to find a COVID testing site. She was a shining star for sure. The parking was in a garage and was not far, an easy walk back to the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful! The rooms were very clean and decor where amazing. The main beds were soft and the 3rd bed was firm. There were 2 bathrooms in our triple room, a very pleasant surprise. There is a quaint reading room and a rooftop terrace, both for guest use. Breakfast was included and delicious, with extensive food selections. The breakfast room itself was inline with the wonderful and charming decor of the rest of the hotel. Zoya, who served us breakfast, was also very kind and friendly. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, while being only a short walk to all of Baden-Baden's main attractions. It is literally only a few steps away from Friedrichsbad and only a few more to Caracala. I highly recommend this hotel and would not think of staying anywhere else on my next visit to Baden-Baden. My 2 friends felt the same. …
It was such a lovely experience we felt most welcomed the hotel is so rustic and beautiful the staff are wonderful they surprised us with a lovely gift for our honeymoon it was so touching ❤ Big thanks to Zoia she went out of her way to bring Halal meat for our breakfast and help us out through out our stay. I'd also like to thank Jasmin she was very lovely and helpful she gave us a great recommendations for our next stop in our trip she has a fun bubbly personality you could chat with her forever. The hotel is close to the city centre, the breakfast was delicious, and they have dripped coffee (idk if anyone cares but for us it was a big deal) everything was simply 10/10.
We had a wonderful stay at Rathausglockel. Zoia - the owner and the person that runs the hotel is amazing - she's so kind and accommodating! The breakfast is a must - it's absolutely delicious and kept us full each day until dinner. Our family of three stayed in the Suite which included a small bedroom for our son and it was perfect. The hotel is very clean and our stay was perfect! It's also in a perfect location, walking distance everywhere including the castle, the casino and lots of shops and restaurants. We also really loved the rooftop deck at the hotel and were able to enjoy a lovely afternoon there too. Jasmine who also works there is so kind and accommodating too. We can't say enough good things about this family run hotel. Run, don't walk there - you'll love it as much as we did!!…
We were a family of five, with three small children and booked the suite. We asked the hotel to reserve a nearby restaurant, for which they could not have been more helpful and actually were conscientious enough the change the reservation to a slightly later time when they reaslisd we would be late. A travel cot was set up as per our request and breakfast was arranged for us to be a l little earlier, with the forethought kindness to offer us additional snacks for our long car journey. Claudia in the morning was especially helpful with such a swift and efficient breakfast and check out, nothing was too much trouble and such amazing service and hospitality is a rarity, for this the hotel stands out a mile! I would highly recommend this hotel who is looking for extra special special and beautiful place to stay.…
We loved staying here. It’s right in the center of everything and has so much character. The shower is small, but worked well. The hotel also had a hairdryer, plenty of room to move around, and great view out the front windows. They left us a bag of delicious cookies as a holiday gift. We’d definitely stay here again!
