We have stayed at this 3 star hotel on a number of occasions. It has a rather charming eccentricity about it, with its old fashioned furniture and friendly owners who never change. The breakfast is excellent. It is In a perfect position in the town, a stone’s throw from the Caracalla thermal baths, near the shops and away from traffic noise. We always enjoy our visits to beautiful Baden Baden and staying at this hotel. We have given this hotel a 5 star rating as although it is a simple 3 star establishment it gives excellent value for money and a warm welcome.

This is not a luxury hotel, but is clean and comfortable. Rooms are a good size. Extremely conveniently located for the spas and the city centre, just a minute walk to both. Staff were friendly and helpful. Like I say, not luxurious, but clean, comfortable and very good value for money.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. Would not provide a crib for my baby after requesting one, claiming the maids left so it couldn't be brought to the room. Apparently the front desk staff can't be bothered to bring it, and only a maid can. Had to sleep on the floor... I've travelled to many hotels around the world and this is the first time a hotel would not provide a crib.

This may be a no thrills family-run hotel but the rooms are clean and spacious and the location is excellent. The staff is friendly and you receive a welcome drink on arrival. We actually got a free upgrade to a room on the top floor with a magnificent view of Friedrichsbad Spa. Standard breakfast buffet, eggs, toast, fruit cheese etc. The hotel is not fancy but considering the price and location it is a very good deal for Baden-Baden.

Impressive from outside the hotel is old fashioned but clean. It appears to be run exclusively by elderly gentlemen who are all keen to be helpful. We were offered a choice of 2 rooms. The room was large with a comfortable bed - could have done with a comfortable chair too. Decor was dated and a bit tired, but everywhere was clean and functional. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, I found the cooked food (bacon and a couple of varieties of sausage) a bit oily and salty, but there was a good choice of breads, meats and cheeses. The location is good, opposite the baths. There is no parking on site but a parking garage (Vincenti Parking) is a couple of minutes walk away - it's not cheap though, was about 15eur overnight.

Love this hotel. Our second time in Baden Baden and stayed here again. Great location, close to spas, quiet, lots of great eating places around. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Full of rustic charm and character.

location is perfect. Exactly in front of the old thermal bad. And 2min walk form the new thermal pool. The bathroom had all you need, the hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast in price. The parking place is in theory in the offer and after sending an email they said I can arrive and leave the car in front of the hotel. The problem is that you leave it on your own risk cause you're not allowed to park there. Didn't get a fee but seen some cars that got. WiFi doesn't work. The room was small with a bit old furnitures. The hotel offers discounts to the thermal pool but when I wanted to buy they didn't have the one I needed (basic one)

We spent three nights here. Great location, nice room - spacious, clean, great bathroom. Staff were friendly, helpful and happy to chat. Breakfast was really good. This is not a modern hotel and we did not expect it to be. However we will be back here next March when we return to Baden Baden.

The restaurant in this hotel is very nice with friendly staff and outdoor seating. Traditional Czech dishes and some German dishes too. Particularly good was the beef goulash. We got a complimentary starter and dessert which was a nice touch.
