First off, ill start off with the pro's. The hotel is very quaint and inviting. We stayed in a superior double room, My fiance and i were traveling with our 3 year old, and the room suited perfectly for our situation. The small sofa converts into a small bed (big enough to sleep a small adult comfortably) when you remove...

We want to make clear, that there are no hidden fees in our hotel and at our bills. We charged this guest only 2,80 Euro visitor tax of Baden-Baden, his drinks from the minibar and the parking cost in high of 9,- Euro per night, separate to the room rate. The guest was disappointed at his departure that he saved...

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive, comfortable place to stay, while visiting the baths and the lovely walks in Baden Baden, this is a good choice. Service is friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and comfortable (bring your DVDs and CDs for the player), although as the building is old, the windows are quite small and tend...

At last minute my wife and I decided to travel to Baden Baden on a Friday for a first-time visit. While I usually make advance reservations, that was not the case this time so I went to the TI in the Trinkhalle and asked about availability. They said the city was quite full due to a special concert and only...

Stayed one night in March 2010. Arrived late after office was closed so key was at local corner bar. Relatively small room but elegant. Comfortable bed, very clean bathroom with towel heating rack. Friendly staff at front desk, delicious breakfast buffet. 3 minutes walk to central Baden. A nice place overall.

This hotel has great service, nice rooms and is central to Baden Baden. The only drawback I saw (and see on this board) is limited parking on site. There are a couple parking garages right nearby, so don't let this discourage you. I say this in particular when you look at the price - its very reasonable for a hotel...

This hotel is a great hotel. More than his rating could express. We stayed here only for one night, during our tour of Baden Baden and we're extremely pleased. The hotel is quiet, tidy and the room was big and well furnished (look at the pictures we made). Breakfast was sumptuous in a room furnished with style. The staff was...

The hotel reminds of those hip and trendy hotels in NYC. The rooms were very comfortable and the location is superb. Breakfast was not bad, but not the best, and comprised of cold meats, various types of bread and cereal. Coffee was disgusting and it was overcooked and had a bitter taste to it. Parking is available for 9 euros...

We spent a weekend at the Merkur and were happy to be there. The room was very well appointed and comfortable with charming aspects on two sides and extremely quiet. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and overall it was a great experience.
