I absolutely loved my stay here. My kids and I spent just 1 night here and we had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom were very neat and clean and my younger daughter had a blast watching all sorts of cartoons on the TV. The minibar wasn’t expensive and it was nice to have a fridge to keep coke and water cold. The ladies at the reception were very friendly and kind and extremely helpful. My kids and I had delicious home made Black Forest cake, eclairs and meringues at tea time outside the hotel’s own cafe, which is also so charming. And of course the service was superb. Even though there was no breakfast buffet this morning, because the hotel isn’t allowed to have one at the moment because of Corona, they really laid a big breakfast out for us at our table. There were warm breads, a big cheese and cold cuts platter, Nutella, juice, eggs and fresh fruit. The hotel is just a few steps away from the Innenstadt (center) and it’s all so charming. Stunning architecture and beautiful cobblestone streets. The hotel is close to the Friedrichsbad (an old Roman bath). There are many places to eat and shop. We also enjoyed a visit to the Lindt store for chocolate of course 😁 and Lindt ice cream and ice chocolate drinks! We had dinner at Garibaldi’s which I would recommend for their excellent Italian food and wonderful atmosphere and service. All in all a wonderful stay. I would recommend Hotel Beek to anyone visiting Baden-Baden!…
The location of the hotel is the absolute best - for both the Caracella and the old town. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, even with a language barrier! Our room at the front overlooking the square was great, nice bed and enough room to walk around the bed and sit in a nice comfy chair. We liked the coat hooks on the wall - in winter you have so many layers on, it's good to have storage for them. We both slept well - it was very quiet, clean and cosy. I wasn't quite so keen on the bathroom, especially the noisy extractor fan and the shower cubicle was old and small, but the shower itself was lovely and powerful. Breakfast was great, lots of choice of cereals, fruit, cheese, salad, boiled and scrambled eggs and sausages and cold meats. Plus breads, rolls, croissants and cakes. My second visit was just as enjoyable as the first and if ever I go back again I shall make a point of staying here. Good value for money and not posh/posy like so many other places. We both felt very comfortable and at home here.…
Found this hotel randomly, making a last minute reservation. Little gem in Baden-Baden. Cozy place with smaller rooms. We had balcony room with spa view. Staff was excellent and very helpful. This hotel is close to the 2 large baths and at one end of the shop/restaurant area. convenient to everything. Beds are good with typical European pillows. Bathroom was small but not cramped, shower only in this room. Would stay at this property again. Bakery/cafe on street level.
This hotel is really located deep in the heart of the city of Baden-Baden. There is no hotel parking available but we were able to drive up the narrow shopping/pedestrian streets to unload our bags before parking in a local multi story car park nearby. Overnight parking there cost 15,00€. On arrival it took a little while to attract someone’s attention to check us in but eventually a friendly young lady took me through the formalities in a very pragmatic way. Fortunately there was a lift to the second floor where our rooms were located. Both were reasonable, clean and functional – certainly OK for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable enough. My room looked over onto the nearby square where people started going about their noisy business quite early in the morning. I liked the tiled bathroom, the walk in shower and the fact that everything was nice and clean. The WiFi worked well – access codes available at the reception desk – just take a photo, the young lady suggested. There was a kettle and a couple of mugs for brewing tea/coffee and a free bottle of mineral water which was much appreciated. A modest buffet breakfast was available in a side room to the Café Beek. Service was friendly, helpful and there was no problem with the English language. We appreciated the location for the proximity to many bars, restaurants and the high class shops in the vicinity.…
A very good stay, in a good area in Baden-Baden near everything. Room is of good size and comfortable, but alas it is non-air-conditioned. It was punishingly hot during daytime when temperature rises to 30C. It has elevator though and tea facilities. The included breakfast is really excellent. Will return if I don't need air-con!
Location is Great. Opposite famous bath 2. Rooms were nice, clean and comfy. Good comfortable bads, quite and warm rooms. Good sleeping conditions 3. Service was great. All went smooth. 4. Breakfasts are tasty, good fresh food with fresh juices. If you like cakes – the Beek bakery with good tasty cakes are available.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Perfectly located opposite the two spas with restaurants close by. In the pedestrian zone. Room was simple but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was a delight - the breakfast room becomes a fashionable cafe the rest room f the day. Lots of choice and good quality. Only a couple of minor issues- Reception is only manned until 8pm so you have to take your chunky key out with you. The pedestrian zone can be noisy early morning with deliveries over the cobbles. Otherwise I thought it a very good experience.
This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to all the other tourist sites. Many restaurants are nearby. Our room was roomy, and we’ll decoorated. This hotel also operates a bakery-cafe so the wonderful breads and sweets are offered for breakfast. Huge selection of eggs, breads, meats, cheese, yogurt and fruits was offered. We took 201 bus to the hotel. We got off at Leopoldsplatz. Cost was 2.6 euro. We had to walk 10 minutes to hotel. We took taxi back to train station for 24 euros.
This was a nice little place in a great location in Baden-Baden. Priced well for the area, walking distance to everything, and a great breakfast. The bathroom was one of the biggest I've seen in Europe, with a spa tub, a rain shower, and two sinks. We stayed in the apartment for four people.
Quiet & Cosy room for 2 with basic amenities near to Friedrichsbad - The Roman-Irish Bath. It supplies excellent breakfast for 2 at the Beek Cafe that has a range of delicious Strawberry, Cheese, & the famous Black Forest Blueberry Cake. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean too.
