We stayed for two nights in November. The Oleander bar was great: Sophia Brunner went above and beyond. She made me a drink featured on the online menu, not on the regular bar menu. This is true customer service- learning in order to take care of the customer. I will be sending my colleagues to the bar so they can order drinks specifically from her. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff were attentive and offered wonderful suggestions. The room was very nicely appointed. The turn down service was a treat. The blow dryer was from GHD. Adding a diffuser for curly haired guest (or making one available) would be a real treat. I did. find the sheets a bit scratchy. The service was superb. I needed a garment fixed/stitched at the last minute, and it was promptly taken care of. That’s the difference with a luxury hotel. There was a disconnect between publications and what was available. For instance, the in-room guidebook featured specials for the brasserie Rive Gauche, but it had closed the month before. Similarly, the Oleander online menu featured drinks the bar wasn’t ready to serve (but Sophia saved the day there!). Furthermore, when I asked for a specific blanket from the blanket menu, nobody knew to what I was referring. I would stay here again, but I also would not mind exploring other hotels in the area.

We went to the Oleander Bar to listen to some piano music. Lovely. A rare case where oldy, world style, like the Savoy in London felt right and good. Lovely drinks, service a little slow and drinks a little expensive - 25 EUR per drink. But worth going in for a look and enjoying the atmosphere.

We went to Brenners Park for a celebratory afternoon tea, though had considered staying there instead. We have been to 5* hotel afternoon teas and also visited Brenners Park's sister hotel, The Lanesborough as comparison, so we did go with certain expectations of service standards. The room we were seated in was very pleasant, though we were not given the choice of the conservatory which we would have preferred. It was lovely seeing the cat that was visiting from Le Bristol. The doorman was friendly and the grounds were stunning. No menus were given, they just checked if we were there for afternoon tea - it would have been nice to know what we were being served or what we ordered. The afternoon tea was nice, but not outstanding. The sandwiches and savouries were tasty though small and not very many in comparison to the sweet elements. The scones were so-so. However there were two major issues: 1) We were charged for two extra pots of tea at 13 eur each (unless it was 11 eur). Nowhere did it state tea was charged as an extra per cup - the first pot was small and could not reasonably be expected to last the duration of the afternoon tea. We were not told by the waiting staff this was the case when they offered us more tea, nor was it highlighted to us in a menu as we did not receive one. This is not standard practice with afternoon teas and nowhere did it say this online (the only description of what we were having was seen at booking) where it noted tea was included. To compare, there was a champagne option that highlighted it included one glass of champagne - the standard option did not not one pot of tea. We highlighted this to the waiter when he brought us our bill and he stated this was as only one pot was included. 2) One of us is a pescatarian. We let them know at booking and reminded them when we sat down at the table. Despite originally bringing out the meat sandwiches, they switched them to pescatarian as she remembered when she brought them to the table - that was fine. When she brought the pescatarian sandwiches she explained what each was and that one of the savouries was a quiche, that was usually a quiche lorraine but not in this case as it was pescatarian. At the end of her explanation we checked that none of it, especially the quiche did not contain meat and she assured us it did not. We did not think about it again as we had double checked and were reassured it was ok. The pescatarian ate the quiche - the top part contained no meat as it presumably sinks to the bottom, on the second mouthful (it was a small two-bite affair) it tasted smoky and to be honest it could have been many things but the offending pieces were removed from the mouth and put onto the plate - not something you want to do - not sure what it was, but we had been assured it was not meat. Next time a waiter passed we queried it with him as it looked like me and he said he thought it was meat, but would check with the kitchen - he later came back and confirmed we had been served the meat quiches. He wasn't particularly apologetic despite us being quite upset at this occurrence and saying it was unacceptable, and when he brought the bill said they had taken off one of the additional cups of tea (as a gesture of goodwill - that we weren't aware we were being charged anyway so it was pretty meaningless!) Nothing further was said on it. We were pretty upset and stunned as this has never happened - in the last 20 years, and certainly not at a luxury establishment where we were positively told it did not contain meat. Perhaps we should have asked to speak to a manager but the waiter had gone to check with the necessary parties already. Overall, it left a pretty bitter taste in our mouths - they could and should have better service recovery from the meat issue much better given the ethical issues.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and we were truly impressed: the hotel is fantastic. The combination of the location (close to the center of town, and close to nature to make the most beautiful walks, and right next to the park), the impeccable service (the housekeeping is top), the facilities (they have the best massage therapists, and I had he best pedicure in my life), and the staff is just the best there is. We had wonderful outside dinners in both restaurants, and we loved the pianist Robin Meloy Goldsby who played every evening in the Wintergarten restaurant. We can not come up with one thing that wasn't good. So, we can absolutely recommend this hotel and we will definitely return!

This is my third stay at the Brenners since 2021. The hotel and its garden are as beautiful as always. Every staff interaction was excellent. I was greatly impressed with the arrival: an upgrade to an amazing suite with the biggest bathroom I've ever seen in a hotel. Being escorted to the room by the front staff is a nice touch, as well as the welcome amenities (fresh fruits, chocolates, flowers, etc.). I was also very satisfied with the F&B: nice dinner at Fritz&Felix, great breakfast in the garden and good room service. Twice daily housekeeping. World class spa. It is nice that the hotel maintains such a high level of service.

There was lots to like at Brenner’s Park, the staff were excellent, very professional and courteous. The Good: The hotel is old fashioned in a good sense and covers quite a large plot. We stayed in both the original hotel and Villa Stephanie rooms. The Villa Stephanie is definitely the place to stay, the rooms are bright, modern and airy and have all been recently renovated in a traditional but modern style. The bedding and bed was extremely comfortable in contrast to the main building. The Spa facility is exceptional as is the pool area and the sunbathing area is very beautiful, the grounds are immaculately kept. The Bad: The main building rooms have seen better days, and the bathrooms, bedding and mattresses need a refresh given the prices being charged. A basic at a five star hotel is a quality mattress and this was missing in the main building. The food offerings - an integral part of any great hotel - are absent/ lacking. The menu choices are pretty narrow, the food is quite average and the prices high; the room service menu is also very very limited and again expensive. If in doubt visit the restaurant trip adviser reviews which we should have checked before staying. Also prices throughout the hotel are a little on the crazy high side. We had two G&Ts at the main bar and found they came to E48, which would give the George V a run for its money! All in Brenners Park would benefit from a bit of healthy competition as there is quite a lot of room for improvement on the food and beverage front. All in if you are going to charge top draw prices - which Brenners is - you have to deliver flawlessly on all fronts, and at the moment they are falling short.

I booked the "PURE MASCULIN" treatment for my fiancé at the Villa Stephanie as a surprise before our wedding. 3,5 hours of pure relaxation with a body massage, a pedicure and a facial treatment. This was absolutely amazing. The staff of the SPA is super friendly and made us feel welcome. As I was waiting, i went to the restaurant BRASSERIE RIVE GAUCHE for the lunch. The food was excellent, the service as well. We ended our day at the restaurant FRITZ & FELIX where we had the tasting menu. As I dont eat meat, i asked for some changes and the waiter immediately proposed an alternative with fish. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much, this day will remain a great memory for my fiancé and I and we cannot wait to come back !

It was so good I stayed another night. The hotel itself isn’t my favourite, I’d like a more contemporary decor and a nicer pool/Spa area, but the hospitality at Brenners is second to none for me. All the staff go the extra mile, this is a ‘yes’ hotel, not only are the staff polite, they are all pleasant and genuinely seem passionate about being professional. The hotel has struck the perfect balance of elegance without being pompous. As an example, they will offer to take your car on arrival, but are not offended if you wish to park it yourself. I just love the feel of this place, it has such a friendly and inviting atmosphere. A few little details that suited me well, include a larger than usual bottle of complimentary still water in the room, large balcony and opening doors for fresh air, bath mats covering the areas you stand (no underfloor heating in the bathrooms and a cold tile floor) and a duvet that isn’t tucked under the mattress at turn down. The Fritz and Felix restaurant is a must if you stay here. All in all, I found it faultless and look forward to coming back again.

I’ll I can say is that I loved every minute at this truly beautiful and luxurious hotel. Everything from the staff, the service, the facilities, our room, the restaurants, the location, the whole experience is just perfect. I especially love the winter garden but really it is all just so - and just so being just right. Have high tea next to the blazing fire place. You will know what I am talking about. Actually it is so good that I can just advise to come and stay here and experience it for yourself. I will be back in December if I can help it. This hotel for me ranks among the very best in the world.

This was my second visit to this hotel, and what can I say? The hotel is truly a first class property, and one of my favorite hotels in the world! It's a real gem! The property is incredibly expansive with gorgeous views in one of the most beautiful and relaxing towns. Everything about this hotel is first class from its decor, amenities, location, food and beverage, state of the art spa, and of course its crown jewel- its staff. I was welcomed back to the property by Maximillian, Assistant Front Office Manager, who was so happy to see me- like welcoming family back, and he upgraded me to a gorgeous room with wonderful balconies and expansive views of the surrounding area, which truly made my stay unique. He had kept my preferences on file, even the most minor details such as my newspaper preference. Although I had a very early departure on Sunday morning, he ensured that I was sent off with a wonderful breakfast. Maximillian is a consummate professional and world class host! It was great to see Katharina who had welcomed me on my previous stay, and she was so happy to see me return. I enjoyed meeting Sven, the wonderful charismatic bartender, who created an impressive array of beverages and cocktails. Merle, the Head of Sales and On Duty Manager one evening, was so kind and friendly, and really enhanced my stay. Thank you to the entire team for once again creating such wonderful memories and world class experiences! I look forward to returning.
