Small hotel in a great location within walking distance of everything in Baden-Baden. We found the staff very welcoming, they allowed us to check in early, the room was spotless, and the breakfast in the morning was enough to get us to dinner. Parking was about 100 meters away in a public parking garage. For the price it is impossible to beat.
Hotel is very conveniently located near the central pedestrian zone, the Caracalla Therme and other facilities. Rooms are fine, clean and comfortable. Not a luxury hotel but perfectly good for a few days stay. Baden Baden is a great city with lots to do and see.
Even better than expected! It’s a quaint hotel in a great location of Baden Baden. Literally steps from the famous thermal baths! The service was great as were the accommodations. The only complaint I have is the lack of private luggage storage. They have a room you can leave your things in but it is easily accessible by the public
A small family run hotel very close to the centre of Baden Baden old town. Indeed the location is the seller for this hotel. Literally around the corner from the Caracalla spa, in front of the Faberge museum, 5 minutes walk to a load of great restaurants and next to the bus stop to the Mercur funicular. The room was impeccably clean and very spacious. Contrary to other reviews our bathroom was quite large. Communication was so and so because the staff do not have a good grasp of English; however we managed adequately and they clearly tried to do their best to accommodate. Breakfast is limited and becomes boring after a couple of days. I would definitely return to this hotel if and when I am back in Baden Baden.
I really liked the location and the room was comfy. Great shower, even if the bathroom door literally hit you if you were on the toilet. Breakfast was lovely. I would have given 5 stars if the reception staff were nicer. I know they are German and hence not that cuddly, but they could make an effort. I was informed in a half baked way of the airport bus (line 285, once an hour) but nothing about what bus to get from the station. I managed, but a bit of advice would have been nice. Equally, I had to figure out the bus times on the way back - the airport bus is once an hour, you can’t get it wrong! I suggested they may want to download the schedule and email guests or have a copy, their answer is “it changes all the time”, which isn’t quite true. On the day of my arrival the girl at reception was clearly trying to get away early to go out with her husband - fine, but work first. So I wasn’t very impressed. For £70 a night I expect 3-star receptionists, and these people weren’t. No body lotion, soap or shower cap either (just shower gel /shampoo). …
This hotel was very close to the spa and major attractions. The rooms were clean and cozy with friendly staff. Given a map of the area upon checking in and found a church with a crucifix from the 1400's just up the road. Would recommend this place for tour trip.
The hotel is perfectly located right near the centre on a quiet, tree-lined street. I had a single room at the back of the hotel, it was quiet and had all the amenities you would need for a short break. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and situated in a lovely room next to reception. There is also a drinks fridge in reception which you can help yourself to and either tell the person manning the desk what you have taken or note it down on the paper provided. A nice touch although there was no fridge in my room to keep things cool. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice relaxing break.
I came to Baden Baden to do my driving license. Staff was very kind and easygoing with my requests. Rooms clean and location superb. I even got a gift when I passed my exam! Highly recommended hotel for relaxing stay!
Location is in the very center, 3 min away from caracalla and 5 min from casino and alley..all the restaurants are around..Hotel is very clean and cosy. Breakfast is very good, choicy ad fresh! Stuff is very polite and helpful! Woyld love to come again
We were in Baden Baden, a most beautiful Town, to visit family. They chose Hotel Roemerhof for its location and could not have made a better choice. The Faberge Museum is directly over the road, the Friedrich Spa baths are a 100metres up the road, the hotel is set on one of the loveliest streets, a boulevard lined with mature trees and the smartest shops outside a Paris. Round the corner from the hotel is the vast shopping area, the city centre with Casino, world renowned Burda Art Museum 100 metres away.... Don’t hesitate, the staff could not be more helpful and the rooms more comfortble
