I agree with other recent reviewers, friendly and helpful staff but very average facilities. Food was poor, young kitchen staff are trying to create sophisticated meals which spectacularly backfired most of the time. Ski World are scrimping on costs, ingredients and no doubt, low staff costs. Thank goodness for our excellent meals on the mountains, but of course at an...

We booked through iglu ski on the basis that there was good wifi as we both need to run our businesses whilst away. As previous reviewers stated the wifi was shockingly bad and not acceptable in a resort this size. We were also stunned to find that wine was not included even though the web site intimated otherwise ... its...

This is a good clean chalet hotel just a few bus stops from Val D'Isere centre. Each morning you need to catch the bus to resort, but the buses are very regular, every 5 mins and you can catch a bus either side of the road, depending on where you want to start your skiing day. We stayed in room...

The staff at the hotel were the highlight of the stay, especially Ross, Ollie and Nick. They served us well and were very helpful when asking questions about the resort. The room was nice and had a massive wet-room bathroom. The facilities of the hotel do let it down a little. The WiFi which is accessible only in the lobby/bar...

We booked through SkiWorld and liked the look of the 'The Lodge' (Lodge Hotel) for its central location and larger chalet size, as we wanted other guests as potential company for our teenage kids. The team were excellent and delivered every meal service with efficiency and good humour. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, with a wide enough choice of both hot...

Got a late deal in Jan 2017 to the skiworld lodge. Great price. We had room 310, was really big, nice and warm and good shower. Hot tub sunna and steam room were good. Boot room was good although ski racks were a bit awkward. Great location, ski bus is a minute walk and you ate next to a small...

We had a great week, but the Lodge lacks the quality of a hotel and the cosiness of a smaller chalet. It's good for larger groups and also a good place to meet others, and also offers flexible meal times. It has a good boot room and spa area downstairs, albeit with a smallish hot tub for so many guests....

This is a review of the Ski World chalet, The Lodge not a restaurant. Good food, good location, good facilities including smart showers, steam room, jacuzzi and a boot room with heaters that work 24 hours a day. The staff are competent and likeable and are always on hand and willing to deal with any request. My only minor gripe...

We were the first guests to stay after the referb, so a few teething problems were expected, but overall a great place. Jonny and the staff were excellent, helpful and very friendly, Nick the SkiWorld Tour Guide was also very helpful. The food was great and the rooms were also very good. I would recommend a stay there.

I have just returned from a late season ski trip with Ski World and have had a wonderful time. In fact this was the second time I have stayed at The Lodge this season. The Lodge itself is well appointed and perfectly positioned. Everything from the attentiveness of the staff to the quality of the food to the cleanliness of...
