Wonderful week in a quirky, very individual and well catered for half term holiday. Cornerstone to the chalet success are the team of seasonairres. Fun, good cooking, great conversation and even a little appropriate banter - and they make a good stay great. Yes the chalet had a few oddities and things that could be better. None mattered or affected...

Booked through Skiworld who run the chalet. Leon, the guy I booked with couldn't have been more helpful after I messed him around a bit with changes in numbers, twice! Started with 3 and ended up with 5 of us. He found us flights from Bristol which meant we didn't have to drive through the night for Gatwick. The chalet...

We have just arrived back from an amazing week in Val D'Isere and stay at Chalet Lores. The chalet had everything you need, the staff were extremely helpful and would do anything for you and the food was absolutely fantastic! The room we stayed in (13) was spacious and warm, with plenty of towels and toiletries. It had 2 bedrooms,...

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for a week, there were 15 of us so we were the biggest group in the chalet. Although we had had a few issues with Skiworld before we arrived, it was plain sailing once we got there. The chalet hosts were really lovely, fun and helpful, as was the resort host. They...

I stayed with ~30 friends for a week in February, most of us were there for skiing / snowboarding. The rooms were good - all were spacious and had quality bathing facilities, ours had a balcony that served as a fridge for beer etc. Wifi was accessible for free across the hotel, although it wasn't fast (you could view Facebook...

So having read the reviews on Chalet Lores I was a little dubious but I got a great deal for a week via Ski World so thought what the hell! I can honestly say I loved it! I don't know what some people are expecting from a traditional ski chalet, yes it's quirky, yes it's got more pine in it...

Hiya, having recently come back from Chalet Lores (9th Sat) I have fairly mixed reviews of it. The Chalet itself is alright, nothing great, but then again i didnt come here for the chalet! Cheap and cheerful, dated decor, electrics tripped a few times (due to Room 1's main lights). The communal room is well lit, fire blazing and with...

Have just left this chalet and arrived apprehensive after reading the reviews. On the whole the previous reviewers all have their points but I can say I had a great time here. Boot room; too small and crowded. Correct, but hey it's just a boot room. Cramped but does it's job. Rooms too small; Correct but you only spend time...

This tired, badly maintained chalet must originally have been a peaen to late 60's cool, with Aertex walls, stripped pine and bathrooms tiled in a particularly bilious shade of Channel crossing green. Sadly, however, it is now long overdue for demolition. The rooms were small, the carpets were thin and the electrics kept tripping out. Our bathroom was so small...

Had this place been dirt cheap I might not have had the gripes I did. The fact is that for only a modest uplift one can experience a vastly improved resource and on this basis alone I would struggle in any way to recommend this outfit.Everything was done for the convenience of the staff not the guests. To describe it as...
