Last minute ski trip with family, I must admit other reviews did leave me wondering what we had let ourselves into but I must say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Firstly nothing was too much trouble for Liam and his team, they were friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms could do with a revamp but the bedding and towels...

Bedroms are basic but clean. Not all have own shower so check. Groups staying during our week were all male, which is understandable as I wouldn't take my wife here. Having said that food was excellent and plentiful, with wine supplied. Residents also got discount in moris bar below and given Val prices this was a bonus. Staff efficient and...

This is my 4th stay in 4 consecutive years. Year on year both the building , the service and the food have got worse and are now totally unacceptable. Mark Warner seem intent on running this place until it is finally condemed. Where to start...outside, the hotel wooden cladding is green and peeling, the signage is dated and peeling, the...

I visited for a week in February and it was OK. Being one of the cheapest places to stay in Val, do not go expecting luxury. The hotel has had nothing spent on it for many years (and is well known by locals for this reason alone). The rooms are basic and I only had a washbasin. Showers and toilets...

It's no oil painting and you won't find luxury / modern rooms here but you will find: - Great location for accessing slopes, shops and nightlife within minutes. - Onsite pub with good food and residents discount. - Helpful, friendly staff. - Awesome food in the hotel restaurant with complimentary wine each evening and the opportunity to socialise with other...

I took my family for a week's holiday despite reading some negative poor reviews. I thought "Mark Warner" so cant be that bad. We have been on several MW holidays and I wanted to cry on this one. My sons are fairly robust, they had been on varsity and lads holidays BUT this hotel was worse. Cold, occasional warm shower...

What a dilapidated noise polluted hell hole this is. There was no redeeming features to this place. It was misrepresented in the brochure, has no right being offered as any form of accommodation to anyone looking to have somewhere to relax and unwind after a day skiing. Yes it is reasonably near the lifts (but not as near as the...

No need to mention that the hotel is dated it is a cheap hotel in an expensive town. The staff made our stay, all helpful cheerful and friendly you very quickly get on first name terms with them. Liam the manager was helpful and efficient ,house keeping two ellies couldn't do enough and the head chef was clearly passionate about his...

Stayed pre Christmas 2017, first time i have stayed in Val D'isere and the first time staying with Mark Warner Travelled as a group of three and all had our own rooms, think we lucked out as they were all on suite, (this is not the case with all rooms). The rooms however would have been a squeeze if we...
