We booked 7 nights to stay here and through Expedia. Prior to booking we decided to ignore the feedback and comments on tripadvisor as we thought it can't be that bad, also my wife and I tend to be extremely accommodating about trips particularly skiing trips as we are interested in just getting a decent ski break and not concerned... hotel with 3 floors, central. rooms all with balcony. spacious... good beds. breakfast basic: yogourt, juice, pot of coffee, 2mini viennoiseries and 1bread. shower good with very hot water. parking. downside.... you can hear neighbours and everything going on in the corridors! rather expensive. nothing special but not a bad choice

Plus points: a reasonable price for a long weekend ski through booking.com/Trip Advisor. Whilst located just outside the pedestrianised town centre it is a shortish walk to the bars/restaurants and main ski lift) and didn't both us. I stayed for 3 nights and I found that the owner's attitude and behaviour was the worse I have ever encountered in a hotel in Europe. The hotel is like a vending machine. Every question one asks is followed by the following response: 5 euro / 10 euro / 20 euro or Not available. While the room where i stayed was clean and the bed comfortable, I would say this hotel is over rated. The tv in the room was an old cathodic one with a screen the size of an A5 paper sheet. I was hitting my elbows on the walls of the shower as it was so tiny. The sugar on top... More

I have just returned from a week in this hotel. This was our last option in Megeve and we needed to be there as had committed to friends staying up the road. Rooms basic, and food very, very average. Just don't select this hotel. You will regret it if you do. The breakfast is what any student would call poor, the rooms are out dated and very varying in standard. Far away from everything, both the skiing and the evening life.

We liked out stay here, we especially loved having a glass of genepy sitting in front of the fireplace :-) the location is pretty central, there is a ski room where it is possible to store skies, boots, etc. Breakfast Washington simple but good. We found a very good deal on internet, and we were satisfied

I stayed here over Christmas 2013 and really enjoyed my stay here. Nice reception and bar area. Every evening there was a nice wood fire and a cosy ambience. The central location is ideal for skiers like myself that dont want to be hiking or endlessly waiting on buses unlike the majority of better known hotels in Megeve. The reasonable... More
