Nice hotel on a great location - short walk to the centre of Lyon and all atractions. Very nice views from the room over the rooftops of the old town and to the cathedral on top of the hill. Nice and clean room, comfortable bed.

Really quirky hotel. Great location and really comfortable beds and rooms. Staff really nice, and helpful too. Nice and central and within reach of lots of quirky shops and restaurants. A bit noisy at night, but thats only because lots of students here

Dear Bryan m, many thanks for your note and comment. You really liked the rooms and the quality of the bedding - we are delighted. You have appreciated the team that listens to you and serves you. The area is sometimes noisy, as are all city centres, but in Vieux Lyon the streets are pedestrianised, which is an advantage. We would really like to see you again. Very best regards

Rooms are spacy and clean, staff is very nice. Good location with bus stops around. Windows are not sound proof, so you hear noise from the surrounding bars at night. Hot water supply is not sufficient, there was at best luke warm water in the morning for a shower.

Dear svensondag, thank you for your feedback which helps us to improve. You liked the large rooms and the cleanliness, but also the team that was there to serve you and listen to your needs. The area is rather lively with the bars nearby and as the noise rises, the windows, although double-glazed, may not be enough. Unfortunately we had a technical problem during your stay which has since been resolved. We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you with pleasure. Yours sincerely

Perfect location in the heart of Lyon. Very good hotel to visit Lyon. Very quite, good breakfast, friendly personnel. Only the parking of the hotel is a problem. It works with a car elevator. It is very small. I wouldn’t advise to park there.

Dear kbosma954128, thank you for your feedback and your rating. You really liked the location of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff in particular. The 17-space private garage is accessible by a car lift, which is not compulsory, and public pay car parks are also available close to the hotel. We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you with pleasure. best regards

I was looking forward to staying here because it looks so cute in the photos, but we didn't love it. I'll acknowledge that most of the issues we had were just old building problems, and in Old Lyon I'm not sure we could expect anything more, but they are something to be aware of. We LOVED the location, though, so maybe that outweighs the negative. When we first got to our room it was VERY hot. It was a warm day in October (80F) and our room felt it. The AC didn't seem to do anything. Upon asking we were told that the AC had been turned off in favor of heat that weekend (nights would get cold) and the building could only do one or the other. That night we had to sleep with the windows open to keep the room comfortable (it was around 65F outside). The hotel is in a busy area for nightlife, though, so it was LOUD until 2-3AM. We didn't sleep well. Other old building problems: shower wouldn't get hot, room was small enough we couldn't have both our bags open on the floor, floors were very dirty (literally turned our feet black). Also, generally, the room felt pretty cold/sparse (on brand for a "dorm" room but a little prisony) — a rug and some art would go a long way. Biggest pro is the location (right in the heart of Old Lyon with tons of restaurants and bars around). We loved the big windows and balcony in our room. The bathroom was a good size. The lobby/breakfast area was very cute. Don't think I'd stay here again, though.

I wanted a unique hotel near the Old Lyon area. Had another reservation and switched to this based on the 24 hour reception and reviews. It was a quiet, convenient stay in a hotel that makes you feel connected to Lyon. I felt like a was in a rented studio as resident. Really a fun experience and friendly staff.

We were warmly welcomed and everything functioned well. The decor is coherent with something for everyone, from the café/bar open late, to the school-books from the 1930s. This is a good place to stay in the centre of Lyon.

The first night was 179 Euros, the second night 259, the third night (Thursday) was a whopping 359 Euros. A total rip off. I realize we were not forced to book this. We only looked at the total amount for three nights and thought it was borderline for a nice four-star hotel. The room was really nothing special, though. The rest of the facilities were very pleasant with their own unique style.

We were in Lyon for a RWC game and our hotel was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was clean with a large comfortable bed. The stadium was miles away but the staff helped facilitate a taxi which not only dropped us but picked us up. He found us amongst 59,000 people! We also used the library to have our own drinks and there is a roof terrace which is beautiful, albeit a bit chilly.
