This hotel is a small 18Th century building. Therefore the rooms are full of character and very clean. The location is right in the centre of Lyon old town, about 200m to the river and main bus route. Me and my sister stayed here for two nights. It was meant to be three but we had an emergency and had...

Just stayed for the second time in hotel Saint Paul. We got, on request, the same room as the last time: room number 223, on the second floor with a view on the street. SInce last time they installed double windows in the room, probably after complaints about the noise on the street. We never had a problem with it....

This was our first trip to France and we found the hotel was in a perfect location to explore the city. Only had to take the Rhone Express from the airport and a short bus journey to get there. On arrival the receptionist who I believe was the new owner provided us with really useful information about the City and...

I really enjoyed this hotel on the edge of old Lyon. Friendly considerate staff, fresh croissants and bread and decent coffee for breakfast, comfortable room. The building is historic Guignol with spiral staircase and no lift, part of the charm. Take advice from the staff about good places for traditional Lyonnaise food.

Very good - located in a15th century building, with a spiral staircase. But no elevator. Charming and a bit quirky, with small rooms overlooking a small courtyard. Modern en-suite facilities. Unfortunately a neighbouring renovation had cut the broadband cable! Good cheap breakfast for about 5 Euro. Friendly staff with good English.

If you are looking for a well-located, affordable hotel, look no further. Located in a XIV century house, this tiny hotel is very clean. The staff is extremly nice and would do whatever they can to help you. The family who owns the hotel (a sister and brother) are Lyon lovers, and will be able to indicate the great spots...

A 15th century building, with a spiral staircase (but no lift), and rooms giving on to a small courtyard or on to the street. Small rooms, with modern en-suite facilities. A very friendly owner who gives great advice on things to do and see and places to eat (or to avoid). Very reasonably priced with breakfast included (internet booking). Very...

We arrived late at night to a fantastically friendly receptionist who gave us a map, recommended things for us to see and some places to eat. Check in was very quick and efficient and reception later helped us order a taxi and plot the best way to the airport. There is a computer in reception with internet access which we...

It is very well located and the rooms were clean. The room was very small and 2 people might find it a squeeze. It has no elevators and if you were on the higher floors, it is a big effort to make it to the top with and without your luggage. However, given the price and location, we cannot expect...
