Hotel located in the city centre providing a good access to almost anything. The staff was friendly and really helpful, even if I arrived late in the night. I stayed in a single room. The only issues that this hotel has are related to the rooms. The room and the bathroom was too small, you had to open the bathroom...

Dear Monica, Thank you for you sincere comment. However, you may have chosen the ECONOMIC ROOM, which is the cheapest we can offer, we only have 2 suchlike rooms. Our standard rooms have in most of them a bath, a big bathroom, queen size bed and a spacious room. The category of room can be chosen while booking on our...

The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were very accommodating, polite and friendly, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The downside was that the room lacked a decent wardrobe (we were stopping for 5 nights) and there was lack of a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom. Having said that the hotel was very well placed...

Dear Robbie, Thank you for your rewarding comment. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. However, I think you had been settled in a standard single room because the superior ones have shelves in the bathroom and a modern open wardrobe. We will be pleased to upgrade you in a superior one for you next trip to Lyon. Best regards,...

Dear DOC! Thank you for your comment. The hotel was actually under renovation and it still is. Much work has been done for that in 1 year: some brand new rooms, a new breakfast room, new painting in the rooms and reception… We hope you will chose our hotel for your next trip to Lyon so that you can see...

The Hotel is located literally in the heart of Lyon and is being surrounded by many shops and restaurants; train and buses are just a few minutes away on foot. Also, within walking distance is the old Town with plenty of restaurants and coffee / pastry shops and couple of MacDonald's for the ones who cannot leave without fast food....

We had a great stay at Grand Hotel de la Paix even though it was only for one night. It was central, close to the sites and cafes and our room was clean and modern. We loved that our room had opening windows which you had lovely views of the streets and buildings around. We would stay here again.

Been here with family and friends in June. Second time at Lyon and was looking for a more central location since the first time was on a hotel further to the old town. This hotel is in a really perfect location and walking distance of many interesting areas to see in Lyon. I would definitely recommend only based on this...

Dear Hugo, First of all, thank you for your pleasant comment. We are glad to see that you journey among us was a good memory. The location is indeed very advantageous, in the very town center, with ability to reach any famous places of Lyon on foot! The only drawback is, in fact, the absence of AC which will be...

We booked this hotel a few days before we got there and got a great rate online. Much better than any hotel around. The reception was very friendly and helpful. It is one block from the river and the bridge to the old city and also centrally located for tons of restaurants and bars. Decent breakfast too. The room was...
