We booked for 1 night as a stay over on a longer road trip. For this purpose it was perfect. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the room was clean. Parking is an additional cost at EUR 15 per day and the spa facilities can be booked at EUR 12 pp for one hour, with a gown and slippers provided. However the facilities regrettably are not 4 stars any longer - it is long overdue for refurbishment. The carpets are threadbare, the rooms in need of complete maintenance overhaul. The walls are stained, and wallpaper is peeling everywhere. You can see where patched maintenance efforts have been made over time, but it is no longer enough. Also important to note is that the room is not serviced for stays under 7 days.

We stayed for 7 nights in May 2024. We had requested a quiet room with a balcony and the kind clerk at the reception served us in the best way. The room was excellent, spacious, clean, bright, with wardrobes and bedside tables, laptop above the bed. Comfortable bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet. Small kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. When they arrived they gave us a small bag with a sponge, detergent and a hydrophilic towel. The balcony with comfortable armchairs overlooked the garden with tall plane trees. In the middle of the stay they cleaned the room. If you stay less than 7 nights there is a cleaning fee. The room was better than the photos which is rare. The hotel is between two metro stops on the line that goes to the old town and to many of the attractions. The neighborhood is very nice, with all kinds of shops, there are supermarkets literally next door. The best boulangeries and chocolatiers in the old town also have a shop in the neighborhood of the hotel. The Lumière cinema museum is wonderful. Don't miss a visit. In the square in front of the museum there was an outdoor market almost every day. If I were to go to lovely Lyon again I would choose the same hotel.

It was very reasonably priced, and the area was very residential and good local cafes and restaurants. the room was very spacious and had a mini kitchen. I didn't expect much but aircon was very good since it was very hot outside during my stay. It's easy to get to the metro line The receptionists were very helpful.

If you know me personally or meet me even in passing, you will learn that as a traveller there is absolutely nothing more that I love to do than give positive and raving reviews to my peers, family, colleagues and even my students. I find joy in the littlest of things and I love to give local businesses the support and ratings they truly deserve.
Unfortunately for the first time, based on my experience at this hotel I have to offer otherwise.
Please note, that if you are someone of colour, a couple of the receptionists will choose to NOT greet you despite your politeness. I almost felt as if I wasn’t welcome. It’s important to note that I currently live in France, and have been an expat professor in various countries including in Vietnam. Never have I ever received this reception in hospitality, and during my tenure in France I have never left a bad comment. Yet, during my stay I was truly disappointed and unfortunately appalled. This was particularly from a full time working receptionist named Marie who I would greet each day and would barely even follow up french étiquette by simply responding a “bonjour” or “bonsoir” even after I initiate.
The hotel room space itself was nice, and the service I received across in Lyon in restaurants and stores whether big or small was amazing and friendly. But I must say the service at this hotel did not match at all for me. Yes, I’m sure there are others that didn’t have the same reception or level of service. I thought the same as I browsed through the lovely comments here, which in fact also encouraged me to book in the first place. But unfortunately I have to say despite my professionalism, my decorum, and overall politeness, they felt it was best not to send this energy or treatment my way. Highly disappointing and honestly hurtful to say the least to be on the receiving end of this.
Hopefully I’ll still be able to see this comment in a few months, that way I will know that the hotel does indeed have some integrity and is striving to better this issue. To those reading please note that Although you have one experience it doesn’t mean that others are treated in a manner similar to you, unfortunately - which is sad to say.

Not worth the 4 stars. The housekeeping leaves something to be desired. The sofa mattress cover was dirty and we had to change it ourselves after an hour of waiting, at more than midnight, but the receptionist is not responsible, she was alone and did not respond. didn't know where the laundry room was. The sofa mattress was not very comfortable and it was very damaged. The carpet in the corridors is full of stains. As for the spa area, in addition to being very expensive for an hour (12€), we had the unpleasant surprise of seeing hairs arriving in the jacuzzi when the nozzles started, and so on… . The positive points are the fairly varied breakfast, the location and above all the vast majority of the staff who were sorry for our mishap but who unfortunately could not do much, since there was no manager.

I spent 5 days for work in Lyon staying at LaGrange aparthotel. At the end of my stay while I was returning to Rome (unfortunately due to a language barrier problem I wasn't able to notice it beforehand) I realized that they had made me pay tourist taxes for two people and breakfast for two (12 euros each). I tried to explain that I was alone during my entire stay as it appeared on the booking and that I had never had breakfast at their restaurant, but they unpleasantly replied that that was how it appeared to them and that they could not solve the problem. It's the first time it's happened to me that a facility is faced with an error like this and doesn't try to fix it..

We stayed here for one night on the way to the South of France. The room was spacious and clean. There is a kitchen area but you either have to clean this yourself or pay the hotel.
Parking was an additional 20 euros, we struggled to find the parking at first. You do need to check in so park outside the hotel. The key then opens the underground car park.
The hotel is fairly close to restaurants and the bed comfy. Great place to stop over and good value for money

Good hotel a bit secluded but easily accessible by metro. We had a very quiet room. Only the staff (reception) may be more information-friendly. Breakfast was very good with great choice. The bathroom was quite small and slowly the house is getting old and would need to be refreshed.

The location is penalizing, far from the center and in a neighborhood where there is really nothing. Luckily the metro is very close and takes you directly to the centre. Large, quiet, clean rooms.
