great quaint hotel. super location and wonderful rooms. Some rooms have great views onto a nice quiet square and theatre but unfortunately ours looked onto a side street. Really friendly and helpful staff. would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again myself.

The room is basic but clean and nicely decorated with simple but new furniture and bedding. The room was spacious and had a lovely view over the pedestrianised square - if you get a 'superior' room for very little more money you get a lovely view over this square rather than just to the road outside. hI stayed at this hotel mid-January 2004. Overall my stay was fine, but if I were to ever return to Lyon I would stay somewhere else.Generally the location is great, very central however, although it is right on the Celestin's Square, the entrance is actually at the back on a street where there is pretty much nothing going on. There is more to Lyon than traffic jams on your way south. In fact, it's a very interesting city with quite a gastronomic reputation too. So well worth an overnight stay or longer.
