We spent a couple of days in Lyon and arrived via the TGV. The hotel is literally 50 meters from the exit of the station, yet the room had 2x double glazed windows (4 layers all up) and was dead silent, despite our room looking right over the station, very impressed! The location does look to be a business area,...

Nice hotel if you are travelling on business or only here to connect to somewhere else like the Alps. Otherwise, if you are staying here to experience and visit Lyon, the location is not very good. The hotel is located 2 miles away from the center of town in a business park like area. For people familiar with Manhattan/New York...

This is an exceptional hotel. Very well located near the train station Part Dieu and shopping mall. The hotel and rooms are exceptional, great design, decoration and layout. Helpful and courteous staff. Breaksfeast buffet is excellent. I will definitely come back for my trips to Lyon. Suggestion: missing a gym room.

This hotel was a fantastic surprise! We booked here as a stop over night in order to be close to Lyon train station & it was perfect. From check-in to check-out everything was brilliant. The room was truly outstanding. It was clean, bright and MASSIVE! It had a nice ‘new’ feeling to it. They also had wonderful facilities for making...

I liked everything. For me the hotel was in perfect location because we arrived at Gare de Lyon Part Dieu and walked to the hotel, the next day we walked to the station, take the TGV train and went to Paris, very easy. The location is not central, but is near a train station that connects you to everything. Public...

Stayed for 1 night only while traveling on business. The hotel is brilliantly located adjacent to the train station and also conveniently located to the bus and tram lines. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Bed is very comfortable, good lighting for reading, big tv with many channels to choose from, a desk...

We had a couple of days in Lyon between business and a skiing holiday in the Alps, and needed to be near good transport links to the airport and La Part Dieu train station. Not surprisngly, Hotel Mercure La Part Dieu met these requirements perfectly: the hotel is right beside the train station and the terminus for the Rhone Express...

If you are only staying in Lyon for a night or two, this hotel is an excellent choice. It is right next to the train station and the Rhonexpress tram which runs to the Lyon airport (30 minute ride). Our room was quite large by European standards and very quiet. There is a subway on the other side of the...
