We stayed here for two nights. On the plus side, the hotel is in a great location, the staff were very nice (especially the concierge and the porter), the decor of the restaurant and reception area were very nice, the junior suite was a good size. On the minus side, despite the size of the room, the room was a...

We had a weekend break and all I need to say is one word "Wonderful"!!! The city is so clean and lovely with lots to do and see for all tastes and the hotel Le Royal Lyon on Place Bellecour is a "must stay"! A visit to the Beaujolais region is non negotiable as there are so many sweet towns...

We recently spent 2 nights at Le Royal and would definitely return. The hotel is perfectly located in a lovely part of town, short walk to Vieux Lyon or any other sightseeing spots and central to the main pedestrian shopping street as well as tons of restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions; when we asked for...

We stayed at the Royal Lyon for three nights at the beginning of our anniversary trip to France, after reading TA reviews and finding a deal on the Accor website which included breakfast. Our junior suite was very spacious, a round room at the corner of the building with views on place Bellecour and the river. The bed was very...

We found this to be an excellent hotel located in the heart of Lyon. Our stay was for seven nights and so there was plenty of time to find out any problems but apart from the minor issues mentioned below, we could not fault this fine hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful, the room was spacious and well appointed,...

We had just one night at this gorgeously decorated hotel on the side of main square in Lyon in May as part of a group tour. From the moment you open the front door your breath is taken away by the beautiful toile wallpaper, furnishings, objets d'art and atmosphere. There is a red and black Chinese-inspired bar on the 1st...

We spent three nights here to cap off a Rhone River cruise. We chose Le Royal based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The location was extremely convenient to shopping and fine restaurants. We arrived a couple hours before check-in, but were accommodated immediately. Our interior room (422) lacked a view, but was quite spacious. Very comfortable king bed...
