This is a very good hotel. The staff did a great job and were very friendly and helpful! The rooms are fairly small but clean and well-decorated. The central location is good for exploring the area, once you've managed to master the city's lay-out. The only real negative to this hotel is parking. Unless one is very fortunate, the only...

For budget concious travellers, the Hotel Des Artistes is a good option without having to go to a hostel. The foyer is quite elegant in an old-timey way, though our room was quite simple, no frills with an ensuite. Hotel staff could be a little friendlier, and there was no hotel room safe. Location wise it's about a 10 minute...

The receptionist, Marilyn, could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The hotel itself was extremely handy for the Place Celestine, just a few minutes away where we ate most nights. The restauarant Le Carre des Saveurs there was extremely good with a great fixed menu on in the evening with a good choice of dishes at a very reasonable...

I really loved this hotel. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean, and had all of the amenities I needed (I was traveling for pleasure, not business). The wifi worked fine for me both in my room and in the dining room. The location of this hotel is perfect - an easy walk to...

The hotel is old, which isn't in itself a bad thing. The prices are good for the location. The stairs work better than the elevator and the front desk personnel isn't the best or friendliest. It's not as charming as we'd hoped, and the rooms are very very small. We were here for 8 days, mixing business and pleasure, and...

1. Very offhand Reception; poor service on booking-in, despite the fact that I had pre-booked and pre-paid. 2. Room on 5th Floor. Ok, but minuscule elevator, VERY SLOW to get up and down. Have used the stairs several times. 3. WIFI does not work in Room. But ok standing on the stairs between 4th and 5th floors (where I am...

The hotel was too old, furniture was dated and depressing. Location was OK. Concierge service was terrible. On the other hand, they were accommodating, when all of the sudden a friend had to share a room with us they provided us with an extra bed for some extra money.

This is a modest hotel in centre of Lyon, well located for Metro and right in the middle of several tourist attractions and close to shopping centre. Clean and comfortable. Free wifi. Ideal for 1 or a few nights on business. (Would also suit a leisure visit) Good price for city centre.

We loved the location of this hotel - very close to the river, a short walk to Vieux Lyon, and next to a lovely & quiet sqare with a beautiful theater. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was big enough, clean, and comfortable. We had a great 3 night stay and would definitely return.

You could not find a better location in Lyon. Just a min walk across the bridge to old town.. The hotel is located in the clean and safe part of the city..The rooms are great, clean and modern. We just love it. We were only going to stay one night in Lyon, but the hotel was so great and the...
