Hotel ParkSaone is a modern and very recent Pension , It has a secure private parking and a really nice location on the banks of the Saone, The staff at the front desk is really friendly. We came to stay at this Pension in a professional setting, we slept in a superior room, and what a nice surprise it was to see the size of the spacious rooms and the comfort of the facilities offered with a bathroom with island bath and shower. The Inn has its own restaurant and bar, which facilitates the logistics of meals, and there are several small addresses to cater for it nearby. I highly recommend this Inn, located in the ninth district of Lyon, nestled in a quiet location.
The only downside I could bring is that today in many Pension, the “1 Queen Bed” option is actually two single beds glued together, which is not very comfortable when you sleep in the middle of the bed. I would have preferred a real double bed.
We will most likely return to this Inn which I highly recommend.

We stayed all couple, 53J and 49J with dog in transit to Spain in this well equipped hotel. The reception was very friendly and accommodating, even in German.
Our room was very nice. The beds are really great. The bathroom is also very large, with walk-in shower and an extra bathtub, overlooking the TV. Breakfast was very good. There was a large selection of bread, baguette etc. Cereal, yogurts, jam, Nutella , cheese eggs, sausage, fruit, nuts, coffee, O juice and tea. Really great.
We would book this hotel again and again. In the evening you can still dine in the actual restaurant. The service and food were very good. The Karze certainly does not appeal to everyone, here you could be more attentive to families with children and possibly offer pizza and other small dishes. Greetings family Kunz

The rooms are very clean, spacious and beds are comfortable. The washroom complete with bathtub was very spacious. The decor is modern and clean. The windows open to let in fresh air. The view was looking down on a courtyard and very quiet, Parking facility on site and underground was easy to access, stalls are spacious, and also very clean. The location is not central and that's waht we wanted driving in. The staff at reception explained the public transport system. We would take a short bus ride to the train station and then use the metro to get to Bellecour. He did advise that there was plenty of parking in the Bellecour area but we decided to use the transport system. We were there for 3 days. On our last night we decided to use the restaurant. It's the same restaurant used for the petit dejeuner. The maitre'd , server was excellent, explaining the set menu and options. The meal was excellent and just what we needed for a quiet last night. We did not have wine with the dinner but mentioned we had a bottle for evening. Without hesitation, he said he will provide two wine glasses. One suggestion is that they should maybe dim the lights in the restaurant for dinner. Our only minor negative was the petit dejeuner. It was so so and needs more of a selection. This was our tenth hotel stay at various hotels as we travelled France, and it did come up short. Lyon offers such great food products that the hotel should bump up the quality and selection of the breakfast to reflect Lyon. It was adequate, but not great.

Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us regarding your stay. We are delighted that you enjoyed our pristine accommodations, spacious bathrooms, and the quiet courtyard view. Knowing that you appreciated the convenience of our parking facilities and the ease of access to public transportation is gratifying. We're also pleased that your dining experience at our restaurant was memorable, with attentive service and a delightful meal. However, we have noted your suggestion regarding the ambiance during dinner service and will consider adjustments to enhance the dining experience. Regarding the breakfast selection, we apologize it did not fully meet your expectations. We value the culinary reputation of Lyon and continuously strive to provide a breakfast that reflects the quality and variety this gourmet city is known for. Nevertheless, we are pleased that the overall tranquility and modern decor of Hotel ParkSaône contributed positively to your stay. Our team is committed to providing a warm and helpful service, and it's heartening to hear that we succeeded in making your visit enjoyable. We look forward to welcoming you back on a future occasion. Best regards, Jacques Roy, Manager

compared to Hotel Lyon Ouest from the same hotel chain, the rooms are slightly larger, the breakfast was not as good (teas of simple quality, coffee machine not as advanced, no citron cake).
the pillow as too full, even the small one.
check-in was perfect.
In both restaurants I was missing a salad dish like Cesar's salad.
the personnel was very friendly.

We have stayed in this hotel for one night in standard room. The hotel is located very close to the center and there is bike road on the river side that can lead you there. This was my second stay in this place and my experience was again great.

I have only rated this hotel three stars, because based on the photos and comments we expected something more. It is true that the room is quite spacious, somewhat larger than is usual in this type of hotel, the bed is very comfortable but for example it does not have pillows, it only has two cushions that are somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on.
It also doesn't have something that seems essential to me in these times and it is a small refrigerator as a provision of the room, so if you have something cool or bring some food during the trip, you cannot store it and keep it in your room.
Otherwise it is a correct hotel but it does not stand out for anything and like many others the price you pay corresponds to the room they give you.

Spacious, modern and very clean rooms. The staff is very pleasant. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant room spacious.
The parking under the building at €11 is very practical in this area where parking remains quite expensive.

Hello, small note on the price difference
I was surprised by the price difference between my reservation on Booking.com at 118€30 including tourist tax and the bill I paid for 134€30
Could you explain to me.
THANKS
Could you also think about identifying the establishment a little better?
Having arrived at night, I had difficulty seeing that I had arrived at the Parksaône hotel.

We chose the hotel as an overnight stop because it had good reviews and was at an acceptable price. And we were not disappointed.
We were given a very friendly welcome.
The room was clean and modern.
With the window open, the cars driving past and the train are very loud.
The breakfast was also good. There were croissants, toast, baguette and various jams, Nutella, honey, various cheeses and cold cuts, cereals and much more.
Even our dog was given water in the breakfast room.
We can highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is excellent. Lots of space in the room, good attention at the front desk, no noise whatsoever. Only thing was 1- no refrigerator, which was a shame given the space of the room; 2- not centrally located. However, you can take a bus that is next to the hotel to the center or other places, and pay directly with credit card, which is very convenient. I am not taking any star from my ranking because of this. But please, add a small refrigerator for the guests. I totally recommend.

Dear Madam, Thank you for your review. We are delighted to hear that the spaciousness of our rooms and the attentiveness of our reception team contributed to a memorable experience at our hotel. It's also wonderful to know that the tranquility of our location provided you with a peaceful stay. While we understand your concerns about the lack of a refrigerator in the room, we do offer guests the option to store items in the fridge at the reception. This service can be arranged upon check-in for any future visits. Our location, while not in the city center, is indeed appreciated for its calmness and the convenience of public transport close to the hotel, as you kindly noted. Your recommendation is highly valued and we are pleased that the overall merits of Hotel ParkSaône have captured your endorsement. Rest assured that we will continue to deliver the high-quality service and serenity that you enjoyed during your visit. We hope that you will return on your next visit to Lyon. Best regards, Jacques Roy, Manager

If you don't have car, you can use Express train until "Part Dieu" station and tram or metro for " Vaise"
It's a little tedious and enough expensive for two persons.
Better to take a cab.
You can not go to the center of the city by foot
In all the city of lyon you can rent a bike : "velolibre"
